"Well now, if this isn't a surprise for little ol' me." A striking woman in a revealing outfit proclaimed. "It's not nice to kidnap someone. Especially someone as gorgeous as me."

Despite her protests there didn't seem to be anyone near enough to have called her to "wake". So just what was this all about, and whose idea of a joke was it? As someone who was used to traveling, she didn't feel an overwhelming sense of panic as she glanced around at the unfamiliar setting. There could be some opportunities here, but there still was the matter of a job she'd previously accepted.. and well she was concerned about the whereabouts of her not!brother, Ascot. She'd taken a real liking to him and tended to look out for him. She didn't like the idea of his being left with no allies.

"So how's about some of you start talking, before I really lose my temper?" Said in the sweetest voice possible.

Link wondered if this newcomer was a Gerudo, at first. But, after she spoke for a bit, he came to the conclusion (albeit somewhat disappointed) that she was not.

Still, he stopped and cleared his throat.

"Ma'am, you haven't been kidnapped."

Nope, unfortunately she was not. Truth be told she was Chizetan, but the last job had drawn her to a world called Cephiro.

Catching some motion in her peripheral vision, she turned to face the young blond haired boy. Not being able to keep her commentary to herself she exclaimed,"Well aren't you just the cutest lil' thing." She noted that he was carrying a weapon and a shield however that wouldn't have been so odd back home. You needed something to defend yourself with when you were traveling, besides he seemed alright so far.

"No?" Placing her index finger aside her lips. "Then how would you explain how I got here? I can assure you that it wasn't by my own volition."

Well, it certainly wasn't the first time someone told him he was cute. Link still wasn't entirely sure what to do with such compliments, but, he gave a polite smile in return.

"You answered the Call to Wake."

Not knowing what to do with a compliment? Caldina definitely didn't have that problem. You accept a compliment gracefully and bask in it, clearly. She didn't really expect him to react to it though.

"You mean that creepy disembodied voice?" What else could the boy have been referring to? "So, say I did answer this call. What's it all about?"

"That's the one!" Link nodded.

"Well...you're here in Nautilus, now. And this city is like a...a gathering place for all the worlds there are. Mostly that means just living here and learning Bending--which is basically just how magic works here. But, there's chances to help other worlds too."

The boy paused and added, "Oh! And living through the Chaos Storms. That's--that's a downside. Some are a lot of fun, but, some are really bad."

This boy was sounded just way too upbeat about all this. He must have been here a while to have gotten used to this sort of thing.

"A gathering place between worlds?" Caldina briefly looked skyward, raising an arm to shield herself a little from the light filtering down. It was far too bright to catch sight of any other heavenly bodies. Then she looked back to the kid. With a chuckle," Child, I won't need to learn magic.. I have plenty of that already." Oh, she hadn't figured it out yet that her powers had been stripped from her. ".. and as for helping other worlds... it's sounds noble and all, but ya' see.. a girl's got to look out for herself so unless there's some money involved, I don't fancy myself going off on some clandestine adventure."

"And.. you've lost me again," With a tilt of the head and a smile. "What's a Chaos storm?"

A familiar tall, dark, and evil figure stepped out from the tree line and spoke in that deep voice of his.

"Caldina. So it seems you were brought here as well."

"Zagato?!" Caldina exclaimed with more than a hint of surprise. Her earrings swung freely as she turned to face him.

With him here, maybe she'd finally get some answers.

"That just leaves one question. Just where is here?"

"Another world."

He spoke as he walked closer thinking hiding over there in the middle of a bush was a poor way to handle a conversation.

"When we answered the call to 'wake' we were pulled to a world far removed from Cephiro."

She barely stopped herself from repeating what he said as a question. Also remembering her position, she she made a swooping kneel. Zagato was still her boss, and if she wanted to stay in his good graces then she had better remember to show some respect.

This place sure didn't resemble either Cephiro or Chizeta so maybe it really was another world.

"I guess my next question is how do we "unanswer" the "call to wake"? I'm pretty sure that neither one of us fancied going on a vacation just now..." Although Zagato's true intentions were a mystery to Caldina, she knew that he wouldn't simply give up on them.

No, he wouldn't just give up. He couldn't, his heart was unchanged. Which is why he already knew the answer to her question, thank you Zelda. "There are several gates around the city. Once discovered one can use the power of their will to return home." He smirked thinking this an easy enough task but... "The only complication might be that we are unfamiliar with the magic of this world and may find it difficult to operate the gates. However... if you, Ascot, and I combine our will I'm certain the three of us will be able to return to Cephiro." Even if one of them couldn't operate the gates let's see it take on three of them. They would make those gates work for them.

Caldina listened carefully to his words, silently marveling at his resourcefulness. That's why those little missies wouldn't stand a chance should the high priest return.

"The will, huh," A smirk graced her features. All power in Cephiro was centered around that very trait. It did sound like a piece of Vtek (Candy).

"You mean that bending stuff that kid was talking about?" She blurted out, forgetting that Zagato hadn't been present whan Link had explained all this. Still, he seemed to know plenty about it already. What he said next got another rise out of her. "Ascot!? You mean, Ascot is here too?!" That pleased her more than she could properly voice. If he was here, then he wasn't challenging the Magic Knights. The kid's got talent, but she still wanted to be in Cephiro to watch his back when he tried to take them on.

"I may not have my magic, but I still have something that can never be taken away... I have my charm~" She boasted. "Believe me, it won't take much to convince someone here to fill me in on how to manage this whole bending nonsense. We'll find those gates, and we'll force them to take us back."

Gardina. He knew her only in passing, and did not know she had accepted a job with Zagato.So on the one hand, it was a pleasant surprise to see a somewhat familiar face. On the other hand... she was only somewhat of a familiar face.

"You have not been kidnapped, and this is not Ceiphro. This world is called Nautilus. And we are much like the Magic Knights, called here to learn what we must learn to protect this world, and others."

"Well now, if this isn't a surprise," Said with a smile on her lips, and a sweet honey soaked tone. Guru Clef might not know her alignment in the hullabaloo on Cephiro but she knew his all too well. Best not tip her hand.

At his explanation she couldn't help herself from laughing. "We're like the Magic Knights here?" Talk about irony. That being said, she wasn't feeling all that committed to be used as someone else's pawn without so much as being asked to do so. Now, if there was some money involved, she could possibly be swayed. "Look, I'm sure you've done your research and all but this still sounds farfetched to me."

"I'm an entertainer," As far as you know. "Not some fly by night hero."

"If you were called by Naut to Wake, then you have the potential to be a hero, and if you are here that means you answered his call. You agreed. But worry not, there are many here who do not see themselves as having the potential to be a hero. They are learning, just as you shall have to learn. And of course, there are those of us who hare here to help."

"As gorgeous as you?" Me asked, smirking. She leaned back against a wall in tight leggings with a twinkling star field, a short black skirt, silver and black high tops, a black blouse with silver button, and her hair french braided and held by a silver scrunchie.

"Either this place has started changing how people look upon arrival or you're delusional. Kind of hard to tell which really. Were you pretty before you arrived, then?"

At the sound of the other's voice, Caldina turned toward it. "That's what I said~".

Oh this was rich. Caldina waffled between whether she should be offended or amused. "Now see here little missy, maybe it has just altered your own vision or.. your attitude." To emphasize her point, Caldina made it a point to jut out her shapely hips and then arch her back to put her other curves on display. "Unless... where you come from they prefer their women to be on the pastey pale and average side." Bare your fangs at me and I'll match you right back.

Attitude? Oh this place had definitely changed that. "Well, hair that doesn't look like some form of toxic mold exploded on one's head is generally taken as a sign of beauty. I can get you some bleach for the infestation you've got there, and maybe something resembling actual hair would grow after that moss has died. Not sure anything can be done for your face, however," she said, regretfully. "I mean.... there might be enough makeup in the world, but from the looks of it, you're already trying that...."
