"I do suppose, in normal circumstances, I would offer my coat to a lady." He'd been tending to a few of the Northern plants, sudden winter was hardly agreeable to any sort of flora, when he heard the woman. There was the vaguest sense of familiarity but from memories that were technically not his.

"But these are hardly normal circumstances, and you are hardly a normal lady." He grinned brightly, stuffing his hands in his pockets, "Welcome to Nautilus, a very special little nexus of the multi-verse."

River turned around when she heard a slightly familiar voice and then couldn't help but smile as she spotted him. Those curls were hard to forget. "Well, you're right, I'm hardly a normal Lady, but, that's what makes me interesting."

Though, she doubted he knew just how interesting yet. "Thank you. I admit, I've never been to a place like this before and I've been all over the universe."

"Interesting? Well, that is something different."

He moved closer, whistling softly before squinting into the fog, "The Southern and Eastern districts are far more welcoming. And the Western one is far more entertaining."

There was a twitch in his mind as he looked her over, instead he simply popped a sweet in his mouth, "I doubt anyone has. One of the more fascinating things about it."

She lets him approach and keeps herself relaxed and at ease as he describes the other districts. Now, the question was whether his idea of entertaining and her's matched up yet.

"I don't doubt it. A nexus like this must gather all sorts of interesting people to talk to, both good and bad."
