"I would like to learn, Sensei, if you would be willing to teach me." He had hounded the man who taught him his swordsmanship, and knew how doggedly he could apply himself when he put his mind to it. The idea he could learn something so incredible, it tantalized him with its possibilities.

"Whatever you see worthy to teach me, I will apply myself." Clef has found a part of Zatoichi's heart that years to learn, and rekindled a youthful desire there. It shows, whatever weathered age may show in Zatoichi's face seems to melt into an energetic man excited to begin.

He settled onto the ground and let his own sphere pop so he could move to sit beside his new student on the grass. "Alright, think of something from home that you know well. Something you've held so many times it seems a part of you. For one student, it was her glasses, another, his wrench. Chose something you would know in an instant. Nothing alive though, please."

In his hand faint, uncolored boxes appear, half-existing and not really there, but Zatoichi is trying. While he can feel them, he certainly doesn't have the skill of Bending yet to make them tangible to anyone else.
