"Riku said...." she started in a whisper, then there was pain as realization dawned. "Riku lied..." she said, softly, but louder than a whisper, and with some anger in it. "He told me I had to stop existing so you could wake up, to save you. That it was better for everyone if I let Namine unmake me.... " She tried to slide along the wall to get away from him. Because she wanted to hit something. She wanted to scream. Sora was here, and he was fine and he didn't need her. Or Roxas. Just one more in a long string of lies.

And she should have known better. She should have. Everyone lied to her. Everyone except Roxas... and she.... she had told him the lies she had been told.

Axel. That's why he kept stopping her. He knew. He knew but... why didn't he tell her? Did he think she would believe Riku over him?

Fury was welling up in her, anger. So much anger. It hurt. It was painful. Why did it hurt? It was like there was a scream bubbling up inside of her, seeking an exit.

He did? Well... Riku lies about stuff all the time. I mean, he keeps saying he's better than I am at everything when he really isn't. [haha and he's not even around to argue about that right now. eat it, Riku.] He was probably just kidding.

[but... this person seems really upset about it still. granted, it sounds like a pretty cruel joke, but then again up until recently Riku wasn't exactly... well, himself.

he's not even entirely sure what the full context of this is, though. why would Sora need somebody's help to wake up? he doesn't sleep that much. and what's all this about being unmade by... who?]

Who's Namine?

If even Sora was saying Riku was a liar.... She swallowed hard, the pain building. "Kidding? Telling me that my best friend and I had to not only die, but not even be remembered...? That I didn't deserve to exist, and that what little existence we had was dooming the world?" a single hot tear ran down her face. She shook her head, angry. Hurt. She managed to get away from Sora and the wall enough to have space, but now that she had it, she didn't know what to do with it. Her hands curled into fists at her sides. She'd have called in her Keyblade of she could but... to what end? Clearly Sora knew nothing of what Riku had been saying about him. It wasn't Sora's fault.

It was Riku's. And Namine. The first she couldn't find. The second...? She threw her hand to the side, fingers opened, and again failed to summon the Dark Passage way. Her hands closed again in a frustrated fist. "If it was all a lie, I want to go back," she said, finally, and realized it was true. More than she wanted to confront Riku or Namine... she wanted to go back to Roxas and Axel. To tell them everything. She wanted the three of them to run away from the Organization. Find a beach somewhere... Away from Xemnas and Riku and Kingdom Hearts and Saiix and everything. Away from missions and threats of being turned into a dusk anytime she under performed.

She was too busy turning that all over in her head to catch the question.
