"Me? Whoa no, Bob. You're helping. We are so not doing this alone."

"All right, I'll help out. Sounds like you need someone more experienced with Hex on your team anyhow."

[the_tamra_enigma]

"No kidding. You don't happen to come with an army, by any chance?"

[guardian_protocol]

"Sorry, I can't get a hold of the Guardians, not since Mainframe was mothballed. All the sprites went offline, including me."

[the_tamra_enigma]

"Yeah, but Vera powered you up and you're with us now. If she can fix the rest of the system....?"

[guardian_protocol]

"Well, we'll see. Let's take this one step at a time, because dealing with Megabyte and Hex is a rather large step. They're cunning and random."

[the_tamra_enigma]

"Um, yeah. That's kinda why I want us to have all the help we can get."

[guardian_protocol]

"Yeah but you can't rush into it."

[the_tamra_enigma]

"They're hardly giving us time."

[guardian_protocol]

"Working with Hex will give Megabyte more opportunity, that's true. But it means his plans become more convoluted, and longer timed. He's not going to go for a quick scheme if I know Megabyte. He can be direct, but careful."

So guess who just took all of Reboot out of the library?

"And the Sorcerer?"

"I'm not familiar with any sorcerer to be honest. Hex doesn't do what people would call magic anyhow."

We'll see if I get to watch before Disney.

"He's a hacker from our world who's been working with megadork."

"That's the first I've heard of it. Megabyte doesn't like working under anyone, least of it some User. He's his own virus."

Bob made a face. "Which means your Sorcerer is in a lot of trouble if Megabyte betrays him."

She blinked behind her display then grinned. "Think we can make that happen?"

[guardian_protocol]

"We'll see. Start at the beginning, and we'll see if we have something to work with."

[the_tamra_enigma]

"Beginning. Right," [she said, dryly.]

[guardian_protocol]

"About the Sorcerer. Any idea on who the User is?"

[the_tamra_enigma]

"None. We know he's used Megabyte to disarm security systems to get into various places in the real world. Willing to bet he doesn't live on the coast, though, given he tried to drown us all."

[guardian_protocol]

"That's Megabytes' MO, disabling security to infiltrate but it's subtle. He's probably going along with it. The User probably has something installed or something onto him. He wouldn't be doing it on behest of just anyone."

"Or he's just a creep, and found another creep to work with."

[guardian_protocol]

"Maybe, but you never know with Megabyte."

[the_tamra_enigma]

"Unfortunately, if we're going to stop him, we might NEED to know."

[guardian_protocol]

"I'll help as much as possible, though we'll need to find out more about him."
