Eh, he might care enough to try harder once he realizes she knows Jack. For now, he takes that hand, "Captain John Hart. Yeah. Just got here... wherever here is."

But that's enough about that. He presses another button and snaps the wrist strap shut again. "First thing's first, though. Hypervodka. I like the sound of that. Sounds like a good place to start. How'd you like to join me? You can tell me about this husband of yours with the vortex manipulator."

She arched an eyebrow at his request or offer, but then laughed, "Sure thing. I haven't met many time agents with enough memories in tact to tell stories." Because searching for Jack's memories wound up leading to him having to tell Rose he'd been a bit of an assassin and that other Time Agents were not so nice. "His alternate universe future wife's got one too, but she got hers from another source." Still Jack's, stolen from UNIT and headless monks. Things Rose wished she didn't know about sometimes. "Tell me about being a Captain first?" She offered a hand gesture to lead the way.

Oh she knew some interesting people, this Rose Tyler. He was going to have to keep an eye on her. "Just how many time agents have you known, then?" He smirked. "Oh what's to tell? I worked my way up through the ranks. Now I travel the universe, seeing the sights. Taking the odd job when I can." He mentally thanks Jack for that line. It's going to come in handy.

And laughed even more at his excuse. "Riiiiiiiiight." More laughs. "Well, you're outta the universe, and into the woods now. Nautilus is a multiverse nexus. Between universes. Your time vortex won't do much other than spy on you at inconvenient hours, powered by Nautilus, the sentient city we're standin' on top of, yeah?" A cheerful hum. "I'm actually not from your universe anymore. Born there, but got stranded in one where my father is still alive instead. Been... traveling between them ever since, trying to get to back to the man who's my husband now. No idea why his comm took on that form. He's not a time agent." She's not sure what form Jack's took, come to think. "He is a time traveler though, but his ship makes time vortex manipulators look like--" she chewed her bottom lip in thought, and smirked evilly. "A dune buggy versus a Tula warship, yeah?"
