As his rambling winds down, he grinned at the boy as if just noticing he was there, "Hello Link. I'm the Doctor."

Link smiled in return. It would probably be rude to say, 'Oh, another one!' so he refrained. After all, if any of his other lives showed up he wouldn't have appreciated that sort of response.

Eleven wouldn't fault him if he did. It's one of the perils of time travel, after all. He always ended up meeting people in the wrong order.

"Alive?" He looked concerned, "That's... not always a good thing. Depends entirely on how well it's being treated.
