Link gave the strange new kid a look. Normally, he'd be all for helping a newcomer, but, this one seemed kinda rude. Still, Link was a hero and Angelii, so he squashed the feelings of comparing the kid to Mido as best as he was able.

"Food's free. Help yourself."

He nodded towards the nearest restaurant, with a wan smile.

"Seriously??? SCHWEET!"

He grinned broadly. "Did the local sports ball team win a game or somethin'? Is it a holiday? Usually people dun just give aht free food."

He wasn't about to knock it by any means, though, and the prospect raised his mood considerably. He eyed Link with renewed curiosity, and raised his eyebrows when he noticed the other boy's pointy ears.

"Yer pretty cool for a drow kid. But I'm still not tellin' you where we hid the Stick. So dun get any ideas."

Link relaxed just a fraction and smiled slightly. "Nah, they just don't use money in here in Nautilus. Since everyone eventually figures out how to do magic---Bending---money is kind of useless."

Then he looked puzzled at the stick comment. "I'm not sure what you're talking about, but, okay."
