Looking at the 100+ comment thread with Connor and laughing at this

This Force thing sounded really handy, actually, and for a moment Markus wished that he had it. That was just a fleeting thing, though, because of course he didn't actually want it. He just wanted the ability to sense things about others, without all the guessing he usually had to do.

No, he had his own power. Not that he considered it a power, being able to turn other androids deviant with a touch, but it was good enough for what he needed. Still, this Force was kind of amazing, and Markus was suitably impressed.

But then she mentions Connor of all androids and the shock on his face is palpable.

"Connor is here?" He asked, shocked, but then confused. "He keeps saying that he's just a machine? But that..." Markus pauses, frowning.

"That makes no sense. Connor... Connor isn't just a machine. He knows that, he... he turned, he broke through. Why would he think that he's a machine now?"

Yes, the Force was amazing. But like all great powers, it could be both wonderful and terrible by turns. The Skywalker family's history was proof enough of that. Leia did endeavor to make the best of it though.

Leia was even more surprised to find out that Connor and Markus actually knew each other. She wasn't sure whether to blame Nautilus, the Force, or dumb luck, but it might be helpful.

"Assuming it's the same Connor," she said, "it's possible that he's just not there yet. You see, Nautilus is capable of pulling people from any world... and any time. So if he were pulled here from an earlier point on the timeline than you were, he might not have 'broken through' yet, as you put it."
