Tadashi was the best robo-dad and indeed a good egg. And so is Baymax, with the added bonus of being kind of shaped like one.

"My intended function is a diagnostic nurse," he said both a correction and a response to her request. "Tadashi created me to heal the sick and injured."

As he continued, he projected a basic diagram of his design onto his pudgy, white tummy, highlighting various parts and functions as he named them. "My body is constructed of inflatable vinyl over an endoskeleton composed primarily of carbon fiber. I am capable of lifting up to 1000 pounds. I have a number of built in medical devices to make me a better healthcare companion, including highly detailed diagnostic scanners, defribulators built into my hands, and medication dispensers in my fingertips. I have been programmed with over 10,000 medical procedures, and am capable of upgrading my functions as needed through the addition of new data chips, via direct download, or though experiential learning."

"Hiro has also constructed a suit of armor for me so that I am able to assist him and my other friends in our heroic activities as the 'Big hero 6'," he continued, projecting images and diagrams of his armored self in a similar manner. "The armor's functions include independently powered flight, greatly enhanced scanner range, and rocket propelled fists that can be launched independently and controlled remotely."
