Such an odd turn of phrase deserved an inquisitive arched eyebrow and that was just what it got as he looked between the Doctor and the portal they had both arrived through.

"You expect me to believe it was only a coincidence that as I happened to be leaving your precious Earth a vortex suddenly appeared, stopping my TARDIS in mid-flight, and the first person I see when I arrive on the other side of that portal is you? Oh, come now Doctor! Maybe there was some truth in that curious phrasing?"
