Aqua | Kingdom Hearts 3 (spoilers?)

Why was she waking up? Hadn't she just woken to the sound of the ocean and the feelings of sand under her fingers? And now, here she was again, waking from a dream she couldn't clearly remember. Except this time, she isn't on the beach, there aren't familiar, friendly, faces around her.

So she did all she could do. She got up and started to explore, steel boots tapping on the ground as the bluenette tries to get an idea of her new surroundings.

Hello. I'm Master Aqua- well, I suppose it's just Aqua now.

[If she seems tired, it's because she is. This is all a lot of take in after ten years of sitting on the Dark Margin. Or had it been more?]

I'm a Keyblade Master but I can't use my magic or Keyblade anymore. I'm still combat trained though, my Master trained me since I was very young. If anyone needs help like that, I'd be glad to offer my skills.

Otherwise, I don't suppose anyone here knows about Keyblades?

[Clef almost never checked the Network, but this time he was glad that he had.] "Keyblade? Do you know of Sora?"

[She perks up slightly at the mention of Sora. Somehow, she isn't surprised by his ability to make friends even on strange worlds.]

I do. I met him when he was very young, and the man I met on the beach mentioned him saving the worlds.

"I would believe that of the boy. He has been staying with us, though he has been gone for some time. He may have returned to his own world." [He paused, and considered.] "Just... how young do you consider very young? He is not that much younger than my son Link. A year or two at most." [Link had already saved two worlds, so that wasn't the part he was questioning. Just... Link and Sora were currently very young. How much younger could he have been that he still made an impression?]

Kaylin was patrolling, an odd looking dragon pokemon on her shoulder. She saw the woman and frowned a bit. She would have remembered hair like that, especially with those weird clothes. Which meant... "Let me guess, you're new and you're lost."

Aqua turns, looking the other woman over more a moment before reaching and brushing her hair behind an ear. It was more for something to do rather than be blatantly studying someone.

"I am, but I think I'd be lost no matter where I was. Even if I knew the world."

Kaylin was always getting lost as well, not that she'd admit that. "Isn't that always the *** way?" she muttered. "Where are you trying to go?"

After so long in the Darkness, Darkness in the realm of light probably stood out. or maybe it was just that particular coat, hood pulled tightly closed around the wearer's face as she ducked from the lee of one building to the lee of another, trying to figure out where she was...

And why she couldn't RTS.

Even without her ability to sense the Darkness, it wasn't hard for her to catch on that she was being followed. There were little things, things the body sensed over anything else, but also faint sounds, little shadows for split seconds.

"I know you're there."

She hadn't been trying to follow her. Just to not be seen. But clearly she failed at that. She stood straight. She said nothing though, hoping the woman had been talking to someone else.
