Time to really confuse the kid.

The orange cat in the tree wasn't Kyo. But he was watching Momiji carefully. Normally he'd death from above, but this kid looked like he might break of Spark landed on him. So instead the cat stretched and dropped into the path before him just outside the candy store.

"Don't suppose you got any fish in there?" he asked, leaving the opening for the kid to make a swedish fish joke.

That... very much was NOT Kyo. But it was a talking orange cat.

Until the cat spoke, Momiji had just assumed it was Kyo. But, once the feline opened his mouth and was friendly...

Was there...another cursed family out there? Or was this just some sort of magical kitty?

Either way, Momiji shook his head. "Nein, Herr Katze, just little gummi ones."

Odd words, though his accent was almost familiar. A little some of Milov's people. They had the best fish. He missed their time there.

"Then we'll just have to go fishing to get some won't we?"

Wait till Adrien got a load of this kid.

Momiji decided cursed was unlikely, as the cat remained a cat as they spoke. "Does no one feed you?"

Oh was ever that a cue for kitty eyes? He gave a big dramatic sniff. "Not nearly enough, and I'm so very very hungry," he said, throwing himself on his back and stretching so that the kid would see how thin he was.

Adrien was totally going to kill him for this. But it was worth it.
