Until he arrives, there are several places where you can stay at no cost, and where you can learn bending as well. I can help in any of these things if you wish, as... Well, for my own peace of mind, I would rather not let you alone unless you ask for it. Is that all right with you?"

"No cost?" She could see it being no cost for humans, but demis like her don't usually get that kind of courtesy. This place was looking quite nice. Though Adela's obvious concern was... odd to her. Naofumi was the only one to show her that kind of kindness since the days of her enslavement, but.. "Why do you want to...?"

"Absolutely none. There is little point when one can simply bend into existence what one wishes, and with enough of us willing to help one another even those who cannot do so are not forsaken."

She blinked at the question, almost as if it were a strange one to her, but instead she made to answer, "Because I wish to, and it seems like you need at least a little help for now. Is that not enough reason?"
