Oh so do you plan to go the miserable sad sack who doesn't need anyone or the I'm better than everyone so I don't need anyone. Because both of those choices are bad ones, I hate to tell you.

Neither, I assure you.

I simply plan to live as I have lived in every other city. I may improve the city a bit, but, I have no plans on making friends or enemies.

To be very honest, I am at my happiest alone, and others are at their happiest when not in my company. If what I have read is true, and money is not needed in this city, then I truly have no need for anyone other than myself.

[Ask Erik how the world works sometime. It will be a very bleak and disheartening conversation.]

Better architecture. There are some exceptions, here and there, but, for the most part everything lacks imagination.

More opportunities for those musically inclined. A place for them to improve their art. The Opera would be the natural choice.

Fantastic. [he grins] Good for you. I know there are plenty in this city that play already, but couldn't hurt to add someone who knows what he's doing-- as I assume you do.

Might get back into playing myself, been a hot minute.
