PROMPTS
Prompt A: Chinese New Year Storm - It's the Year of the Rat and the city is celebrating the holiday. Many different activities and food for everyone. You can even adopt a pet mouse if you want. Children can get red envelopes filled with a small amount of whatever currency their world uses. Have fun!

Prompt B: Cupid War Storm - A war has broken out between cupids and dark cupids, fighting to either spread love (Cupids) or hatred (Dark Cupids). The cupids are the ones with white wings and love arrows, while the Dark Cupids are the ones with black wings and dark rose-ended arrows. Is your character one of the cupids or is the poor person stuck in the crossfire of the war?

Prompt C: Wildcard - Is your character trying to learn bending? Posting on the network about something on their mind? Or is your character just first Awakening? Either way, have a go at it.

Tobias considers that for a long moment. <I suppose it could be, but there are no obvious signs of it,> he replies, turning his gaze towards the city. <I did see some species I recognized but... from TV and movies, not real life.> It was weird. Even by their standards.

<Yeah, just like that,> Tobias agreed. He watches a rodent, shifting his wings open a little, forgetting for a second that Ax was right there.

<Neither of us can morph,> Tobias reminds. Yes, yes there is human food. Lots of greasy, salty, sugary human food.

Maybe even cinnamon buns.

He shuffles his wings restlessly.

That gets an unhappy groan. <But wouldn't we have both come from the same point in time? And wouldn't we still be on earth?> And didn't it require a massive explosion?

< No, no. that's not what I meant. > It was frustrating. Tobais was his shorm, was actually related to him, and was a friend as well as a brother in combat. But he was still limited by both the human and hawk brains. No fault of his own, but still frustrating. < We said that this wasn't the Ellimist, because we're from different times, and wasn't a Sario Rip for the same reason. But when Prince Jake experienced the rip he remembered everything after. He didn't have access to the DNA, but he had the memories. When we first encountered the Ellimist he claimed not to be influencing us, but he kept showing us things we wouldn't have seen otherwise so we could change the future. Maybe that is why we are from different times. Maybe there is something that I need to tell Prince Jake that you know because you are ahead. >

And that likely meant one thing. < How long after the communication was it when the fleet arrived? >

Tobias considers that in silence, considers everything that happened between the night Ax came from, and the end of the war. Eventually, he turns his gaze to his uncle once more. <Longer than we would've liked, but not too late.> Not too late for all of them, anyway. Just one. <I can't think of anything useful to tell you, none of our moves seemed to come from nowhere, especially after that point,> the beginning of the end of the war.

He shifts uncomfortably. <Maybe... but we won. I wouldn't want to jeopardize that,> even if it meant saving Rachel.

Tobias nods. <Can't go chasing after a blade ship if you're dead, can you?> he asks. <I do miss you, but not because you're dead. Not that I've heard about, anyway.>

He gave himself a moment to process that and consider, looking for other holes. < If that is the case, why are you not with me? > Because Tobais would be, right?

<It was an Andalite mission, not an Animorphs one,> he replies, though his voice is a bit quieter now. <And I wasn't really in any state to join you, anyway. The final battle was... rough.> All their battles had been, but this time it had been worse. So much worse.

His main eyes were saddened a bit. Both at the reminder of how his people were, and about how bad Tobais sounded. < But you are better now? > He shifted slightly closer to his friend.

<I'm with you, aren't I?> he replies, his tone a little warmer now. <Yeah, I'm doing better, Ax-man. I think I just needed some space. It really doesn't help that everyone knew who we were by the end.> Tobias had never been very social, and becoming famous had been the worst. Especially as a nothlit.

< By everyone you mean....? > He meant the Andalites right? Not the humans? Ax was having a hard time fathoming Prince Jake being okay with breaking secrecy, even after the war was won. Never knew when there might be a band of Yeerks hiding in plain sight.

<Oh, I mean everyone,> he replies dryly, fluttering his wings. <There was so much chaos at the end, the only way to really explain what had happened was to go public.>

There was no avoiding that he was shocked. < And Prince Jake thought that explaining it was a good idea? >

<Yeah. The whole thing got blown open, Ax. There was no hiding it. It was tell the story ourselves, or let the politicians spin it how they wanted,> and that wasn't likely to end well at all. <Jake made the right call.> That time. There's no small amount of bitterness in his voice.
