TFA Is Getting to My Brain
Hello, crack community!
Just wanted to throw a scene your way: a recent example about how this community manifests itself in my offline life (and likes to freak my family out when on spring break)
Not five minutes ago, my mom and I came back into the house after doing some early-morning errands. We held an entire, loud conversation concerning the other members of the household, when, much to our surprise, my younger brother is sitting not one room away, ignoring us for the most part.
Which led to the exchange:
Me: You were in here this whole time?
Brother: Yeah.
Me: And you couldn't have....acknowledged our presence in any way? Said hi when we came in, for example?
Mom: Why should he? *laughs* We're only good for one thing.
Me: Garbage!
Brother: .....
Mom: ....I was going to say "transportation", but sure, why not.
So thanks, especially to Wreck-Gar's mun and the rest of the TFA cast, for putting that phrase in mind all day long.
