Spawned out of late-night chat fun, here's a meme for all the Wake people!




You're in a brightly-lit playroom. Chalkboards, blocks, small bookshelves, coloring stations, a small corner for reading and another for snacks and juiceboxes. There's an open door, leading outside into a playground area with sandboxes, a swingset, and a see-saw. The whole day is spanned out for you to do whatever you want!

Babysitters Squall and Sari are here to take care of your every need. So find a friend, take a nap, cause chaos! You're children: the world is your oyster.

[Loads another rock, aiming it right between Derek's eyes. >E ]

[Bops her on the nose.]

....[stunned look, then starts to go red in the face, gearing up for a major scream-fest, dropping her slingshot and balling up her fists, furious]

[Grabs Rip by the back of her jumper, stares down.]

[Blinks, looking suspiciously at the candy before she's yanked back and up, glaaaaring up at Squall]

Put me down!

[Attempts to kick, furious!]

HERR DOCTOR HERR MAJOR I NEED AN ADULT! I NEED AN ADULT!

[Winces at screaming. Carries Rip over to a counter, then sets her on top of it.]

Sari and I are the adults here, Rip.

[Gets into Serious Talk mode.]

[It doesn't go too well. Hm. He'll try again.]

... Why were you and Derek fighting?

[blinks, looking around at how high up she is, but actually calms down, and thrusts an accusing finger at Derek down on the floor]

He hit me!

[assbelts]

[Turns to Derek.]

Derek. Did you hit her?

She was about to shoot me!

Stupid Nazi.

[assbelts]

Hitting is never an answer.

[He actually manages to say this with a straight face. O.o]

If that happens again, go to Sari.

[Not him.]

[Turns back to Rip.]

Rip. What were you about to shoot him with?

[Promptly bares her fangs at Derek for calling her stupid....only now that she's little, has regular, normal-sized teeth and just sort of hisses at him]

[flippantly shows Squall her slingshot, but keeps a tight grip on it, daring him to take it from her]
