Spawned out of late-night chat fun, here's a meme for all the Wake people!




You're in a brightly-lit playroom. Chalkboards, blocks, small bookshelves, coloring stations, a small corner for reading and another for snacks and juiceboxes. There's an open door, leading outside into a playground area with sandboxes, a swingset, and a see-saw. The whole day is spanned out for you to do whatever you want!

Babysitters Squall and Sari are here to take care of your every need. So find a friend, take a nap, cause chaos! You're children: the world is your oyster.

[Stares in shock. Snatches up a glass of water, throws it on the (thankfully still small) fire.]

[Grabs Rorshach by his shirt and hauls him over to Time Out. Sits him down, plants one hand on either side of him, and GLARES.]

What. Was that about.

[It's less of a question and more of a ... barely contained snarl through his teeth.]

[Flails, yanks Rorshach off his arm.]

...{pauses, staring at Squall's OMG YELLING VOICE, and then looks to Rorschach, wincing]

Oh, man....Not this guy again.

[going over, hesitantly picking up Rorschach from under his armpits, holding him at arm's length]

What am I supposed to do with him?!

I don't know!

[Takes a breath, tries to calm down.]

He ... BIT me.

[Teeth grinding.]

... Who are his parents?

[Bites Sari - bruises, but doesn't draw blood. Which is like. Affectionate, almost?]

[Flinches, but manages to suck in a yelp before it becomes audible.]


Ahaha...ow....okay, Rorschach, why don't you...come sit with me, and we'll get you something to eat. Do you have a favorite food?

[frantically waves over Rorschach's head to indicate to Squall that she's got him]

[Stares at the biting.]

... Do you want some ... I don't know. Duct tape?

[tries to gently hush Rorschach, putting him over her shoulder and rubbing his back, wincing apologetically]

[Stares at the kid, then pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs.]
