~*~THE KID MEME! ~*~

You're in a brightly-lit playroom. Chalkboards, blocks, small bookshelves, coloring stations, dress-up boxes with funny hats and capes and all sorts of props like wizard wands!, a small corner for reading and another for snacks and juiceboxes. There's an open door, leading outside into a playground area with sandboxes, a swingset, a see-saw, a jungle gym, and a big plastic castle! Rion and ...Six are your sitters today unless they don't want to be, in which case, nominate someone! Have fun!

Rules:

• You all are chillums. You may be anywhere between 5 and 12. You may not curse at all. If your character's foul mouthed, they may say "crud," or "turd," or even "stupid head."
• Playground romances must be limited to derpy cuteness and maybe a kiss on the cheek.
• HAVE FUN OR ELSE
• IDK I'll probably think of some.

[Here's Aerith, in a dress, but she desparately wants to be on the jungle gym pirate ship and play. Not that she really knows what pirates are, but it still looks fun.

She looks up, her curiosity getting the better of her]

What do pirates do? Do they normally talk like that I've never heard anyone talk like that.

[Six watches over the little ones on the playground, keeping an eye out for if someone gets a little too adventurous and ends up in over their heads.]

[A FAIR LADY! He puffs up his chest juuust a little, because he's not a show-off at all. Nope.]

Pirates are... are... Ummm... Scum! Yeah, scum.

[He adopts a pirate sea-person-who-is-obviously-not-a-pirate-this-is-just-how-sea-people-talk voice]

An' they talk like this, arrr. Th' werst sort o' sea dogs 'round these here parts, they be. Stealin' from good sea-farin' trav'lers 'n takin their booty!

[Scum? Aerith's hands twist in the fabric of her dress a little as she listens to him talk, cocking her head to the side as she tries to understand what he's saying.]

They talk funny. [She goes to the jungle gym, climbing up on the first bit of ladder.]

Can I be a pirate too? I wanna steal from sea faring travelers! What are we stealing?

[AND HERE COMES HOLIDAY REBECCA, bounding up to Six in a little white dress and OH SO enthusiastic... at first. She slows down and walks the rest of the way once she's close enough to him, a little on the shy side.]

[Holding out a purple flower to you, Six.]

I... couldn't find a green one.

[Well, she did find some clovers, but they weren't pretty enough. *3*]

[Six crouches down until he's on her level. He carefully takes the flower.]

Thank you very much, Rebecca. It's very pretty.

[STAND ASIDE. Let the White Rose of Wutai show you how it's done! She punches her fists onto her non-existant hips and throws back her head. There's no wind, though, so her scarf does not flap dramatically.]

[She blushes and looks at the ground, holding on to her dress and scuffing her shoe.]

[Rialynn has gleefully mounted one of the playground's spring-centered horses, rocking back and forth on it and hoisting a stick into the air.]

[This may or may not involve vanquishing the jungle gym dragon later.]

I'll put it in some water when we all go inside for lunch.

[He's not the only one. Though Akane is having a grand time playing with her other little-girl classmates, she occasionally shows signs of protectiveness, glaring at any little boys that start to show signs of trouble-making. Then she goes right back to the tea party on the grass.]

[Six sees what you're doing and appreciates the extra set of eyes. Maybe he'll recommend you get a gold star sticker for being a good helper or something.]

[She's stunned by this new development, but she smiles again with a whole other shade of blushing coming to those little cheeks.]

[And she does as told, climbing on to Six like a big girl, not scared in the least.]

[He slowly stands back up, ready to crouch back down if she starts to get scared. He's holding on to her carefully as he turns his face back to the other children.]

[But she won't tell you anytime soon, that was for sure. She looks out over the playground with a big smile. Six is so tall.]

[Continues watching over the kids on the playground with the same seriousness and dignity he'd perform guarding some important dignitary...even if there is a small child on his back.]
