Draco | Dragonheart
What a strange device...
[If you're out and about in the Northern District, you may see the dragon within the Northern Plains, sitting nestled in the grass, tinkering with his communicator.]

Hogarth is still a fair distance away since hey- there isn't actually anything to hide behind in a plain- so for a long time he lingers as far away as he possibly can. Soon enough curiosity takes hold though and, after a deep breath, he approaches quietly and carefully through the grass. He can't help but smile when he spots the communicator in front of the dragon's claws, which is being poked and prodded at every moment or two.
Well....he just hopes this dragon is friendly.]

He suddenly calms, seeing that... it was a mere child. He offers a soft smile, relaxing his muscles once more.]
Greetings, little one.
no subject
Well either way, mom always said it's rude to just leave without saying hi, right?
Clearing his throat a little, Hogarth straightens and steps a little closer, still a bit wary though not nearly as much as he was before.]
Hello. ....Do uh...
[He points at the communicator still lying in the grass.]
Do you need help with that?
no subject
Ah yes! I'm... not quite sure what this is. [Draco prods it again with his large claw.] It looks to be made of metal, but it does not look like a weapon of any kind.

[Without further ado, the boy steps all the way over and plops down in front of Draco in the grass, picking up the communicator in question. He's obviously a lot braver than most kids it looks like, but then again he's got reason to be.]
Well I can tell ya one thing, this ain't a weapon. It's kindof like a uhh..
[He purses his lips, turning the device a little while he thinks of a way he could explain it to the dragon. After a moment he turns it around so Draco can see, and points at the screen he'd been clawing at.]
You use it to talk to people, looks like. They'll show up on this little screen here, see?
no subject
But I'm talking with you now. Is that not sufficient enough?

Excuse me? [No one had the guts to just ask a dragon to fight.]
no subject
[He's not out to kill or anything but he's never tested his strength against a dragon]
!!!!!
It doesn't look exactly like the dragons from back home, but still! DRAGON!
Clearly it needs to be ridden. Right?

A good rest couldn't hurt, right?]

He waits until the dragon's head is down, and his eyes are shut, before he scurries over to its side and lays a hand on the great beast's scales.]

Um, hello?
How did you get in there, lad?

If you're not in there, then... where are you?
