[A young boy has his face waaaay too close to the camera for comfort. Like... he's about squishing his nose in... dismay? Excitement? It's a little hard to tell when you can't see his whole expression at once, but one thing is definite.

He is yelling.]

Yu? Doctor Edgar? What the...

[He pulls back just long enough to show a glimpse of blue sky before getting all up in the camera's business again.]

What is that?!

[Some people in the Eastern district might actually be able to hear this little urchin without their communicators. His voice carries. >>]

[Gavin could be seen wandering into the Western district. His curiosity got the better of him this time around. It was full of interesting creatures.

That was until a large giant spider towered over his frightened form. Gavin's blue eyes widen as he tries to walk back and away from the looming spider, who narrows its many eyes at him, contemplating its next move.]

[Oh, hey, giant creatures looking like they might try to kill people. If it were more alien-like, she'd feel right at home.]

You've got the right idea. Just don't make any sudden movements. [Going under the assumption that it's mostly docile unless he tries to bolt... but she guess she'll find out soon enough if that's actually true.]

Hogarth Hughes | The Iron Giant

[Hogarth has found himself in the Northern District, and while he'd normally be on his feet exploring, the area is so wide and expansive that he's not exactly sure where to start.
And the fog lazily swirling all around isn't helping much. He figures sticking to where he's sitting on a dusty rock until the fog clears a bit is the best idea. ..For now.

That isn't stopping him from looking around from where he is. This area seems so....empty. So deserted, for some reason. It's a bit unnerving.
It's so quiet that if someone tried to walk up on him he'd hear them, at least. ...Rather, he thinks he would.]

[In the fog, a large figure stands nearby. Tall and slender. But golden eyes are the most apparent through the thick fog, looking straight at Hogarth, just a few yards away.]

Lost, are we?

[This is not what Naota expects when he wakes up. He sits up slowly and looks around the strange forest he's found himself in. Little does Naota know that he's awaken inside Nautilus' Southern District. The young teen is quiet for a moment before he stands up and starts yelling.]

THIS ISN'T FUNNY! DAD?! GRANDPA?! WHERE ARE YOU?! DID SHE PUT YOU UP TO THIS?! GET OUT HERE RIGHT NOW!!!

[Well, all that yelling caught someone's attention, alright, but not sure you are going to like it, little guy. Because despite the fact she is mostly PINK, Eryun can still surprise you by suddently appearing between two trees.]

Will you shut up human? Or do you want to get eaten by the snakes?

[A LARGE DRAGON is peering into your communicators folks. His large eye appears first before he pulls his head back, poking a claw at the screen.]

What a strange device...

[If you're out and about in the Northern District, you may see the dragon within the Northern Plains, sitting nestled in the grass, tinkering with his communicator.]

[Well he knew exploring the Northern District a little would soon pay off. Though he didn't think it would reward him with a dragon.

Hogarth is still a fair distance away since hey- there isn't actually anything to hide behind in a plain- so for a long time he lingers as far away as he possibly can. Soon enough curiosity takes hold though and, after a deep breath, he approaches quietly and carefully through the grass. He can't help but smile when he spots the communicator in front of the dragon's claws, which is being poked and prodded at every moment or two.

Well....he just hopes this dragon is friendly.]

[Rose can be found in the Eastern District and enjoying the lovely beach there. She's taken off her shoes and is taking in the feeling of sand between her toes and water lapping at her feet. It's a welcome, familiar sensation in this otherwise foreign place.]

[ Jack is at the beach too! But that's because he likes playing with the waves...in his own way. By freezing them. Whoops, is that an ice floe drifting up onto shore? Sure does look like it. There's a boy sitting on it too. He waves good-naturedly, because apparently there is not anything weird about this at all. ]

[Hello, Western District. There is now a very run-down looking Geth exploring this section of the city.

He is taking in the spiky buildings and odd hand-covered trees with quiet contemplation. There's a small whirring as his eye zooms in and out on certain landmarks.]

[Oh gosh is that a robot. Whatever it is, Hogarth is curious and wastes no time stepping a bit closer, even though he's watching Legion pass by from behind one of the edges of one of the buildings.

His hiding spot is less than ideal though. He'll probably be spotted in no time.]

[Romana had no idea where she was. Of course this would happen. She should have known agreeing to go with the Doctor one last time for 'old time's sake' was a bad idea. And now, instead of being in the office of the president, she was stuck wandering around a strange city. It wasn't Earth, that much was clear; the sky was the wrong color, almost the color of Gallifrey's sky, but nothing else was right for Gallifrey. The grass was the wrong color, and so were the trees.

Tugging her coat a little closer around her with a huff--not that she needed it; it was quite warm out, another reason it couldn't be Gallifrey--she picked a direction and started to walk. If the Doctor was the reason she was here, she just had to find him--or his TARDIS--and demand she be returned to Gallifrey. Just because she had decided to go with him in a moment of weakness--! She wasn't able to go gallivanting off whenever he crooked a finger anymore, and she had to make him see that.]

He walked as he tried to figure it out and if you watch for a while you may see the same guy circle a the same small grove of trees in the lazy way of someone who knows where he's going and is in no hurry to get there]

[Cimorene takes a firmer grip on the bucket of soapy water in her hands and looks around. Luckily she'd been cleaning the second treasure room before her sudden transportation here. She might not have had a sword, but she was at least wearing one of her more practical dresses. She mostly used it for cleaning, but it would do for exploring just as well.

And she had the soapy water. If a wizard was the cause of this she would be more than happy to melt him.]

His glasses sit nearby, broken in one lens as he groans. Looks like he might be coming to!]

[ There's a zombie walking down the middle of the street.

[ On second thought, "walking" is the wrong word. Walking implies continuous progressive motion. This zombie - and zombie he is, no matter how early his stage of decay may be - tends to stop and groan too frequently, as he stares seemingly mindlessly at his surroundings. "Stumbling" may be more appropriate. Or better yet, "shuffling."

[ Yes, let's go with that.

[ Onward the zombie shuffles; lost, confused, and very much Dead. ]

[Is that a zombie? Really? Because one, he's all by himself, and movie zombies always move in big groups. And two, he looks way too good to be a zombie. No rotting flesh or pieces falling off or anything! He's got the shuffling down, and the blank stare, but that could be any hungover person performing a particularly bad walk of shame after a really wild night. Mary had spent enough time in New York City to see a lot of those.

Honestly, even if he is a zombie, she's starved enough for attention that she'll take her chances. They're slow, right? She can totally get away when if this fails catastrophically.]
