Legion | Mass Effect Series

[Hello, Western District. There is now a very run-down looking Geth exploring this section of the city.

He is taking in the spiky buildings and odd hand-covered trees with quiet contemplation. There's a small whirring as his eye zooms in and out on certain landmarks.]

[dontwigout]

[Oh gosh is that a robot. Whatever it is, Hogarth is curious and wastes no time stepping a bit closer, even though he's watching Legion pass by from behind one of the edges of one of the buildings.

His hiding spot is less than ideal though. He'll probably be spotted in no time.]

[What was that?

His head tilts towards the direction of some scuffling about he hears. The light on his head turns up in brightness and he directs it towards where Hogarth is hiding.]

There is an unidentified life-form in the vicinity. [i.e. REVEAL YOURSELF, STRANGER.]

[dontwigout]

[Ohshoot. Hogarth takes a deep breath and holds it for a moment, trying to stay as still as he can. ..Maybe some robots are like dinosaurs, and if you don't move they can't see you.

..Rather, it's worth a shot, right?]

[ Unfortunately for Hogarth, Geth are not like dinosaurs. Legion takes a few steps forward and illuminates the spot that Hogarth is hiding in.]

Life-form is organic. Human. Male. Approximately ten years of age. [A beat.] We do not recognize this individual as any organic we have encountered before.

[dontwigout]

[The boy quickly covers his head with his arms when the light shines on him, blinding him for a split second.]

Don't- Don't shoot! ...Or...or whatever you can do, I'm just a kid! I'm not gonna hurt'cha!

We have no intention of causing you harm.

[dontwigout]

[Blinking, Hogarth carefully lowers his hands, but he's careful not to get any closer than he already is.]

You....don't?

[...we?]

No.

[The light dims a little so Hogarth can actually see.]

[dontwigout]

Well then...what do you want?

We only wish to learn of our location. This place does not register as any known planet in our database.

[dontwigout]

..Well I...I'm sorry, but I dunno what this place is either.
