[Had Edgeworth not been recently abducted the last time he was in Nautilus, he might not react quite so strongly to the rustling. As it is, he starts when he hears it.]

[The second time he does, he whirls around warily.]

Who's there?

[The rustling continues for a few moments, until a voice speaks up, almost in a whisper.]

Even in the depths of night,
When no other bird dares to take flight
One alone soars to shine the light
Of righteousness on the world's blight!

[Cue Kay leaping out and jumping you, Edgeworth!]

[Oh, Kay. You got Edgeworth good this time. He actually jumps back in response to her leaping out, unintentionally Bending it into a bigger jump than he meant and nearly falling over as a result.]

[He then stops and stares at her. He does not recognize her immediately--having not met her older self yet in his timeline--but he does recall that case.]

[Pardon Edgeworth while he tries to figure out why she looks vaguely familiar.]

[When he jumps away, she manages to catch herself on her feet, no matter how clumsily it was done.]

[The name Yatagarasu... her appearance... could it be...?]

[She seems to know him.]

[He has not seen her in years, but it is the only logical conclusion.]
