[The question does bring Hanna's tiny attention span to focus though, frowning himself as he crosses his arms and thinks.] That crazy clock guy...I punched him in the face and then he pulled a gun.

But at that moment...I heard a voice? Like it was calling to me, or something. I guess I answered it?

That's about it though. Kinda fuzzy from there. Sorry you had to stay outside by the way, um...stupid vampire rules and shit.

[Right. And Conrad was running off to get help from the hack job of a doctor, Worth. And then in a mess of things, he, Worth, Lamont, and somehow Sassy Bat were all being chased by a mad man with a gun. And then...]

[Conrad pats at his chest, suddenly confused. He was in human form. But...]

I'm... not red small and furry anymore.

[Though its kind of apparent that it's working since Hanna's runes aren't out of whack that he can tell. But this is a good reason, right?

It just happened, okay?! We were being chased by a mad vampire slayer, and then I just... poofed into a bat!

Vampire slayer? That's news to me...where did you even go after we went in that house?

When I heard that goddamn gunshot, I ran to find Worth! He and his friend were at his office. We went to get into Lamont's car, only to find that fucking Sassy Bat in the back of his car.

And then, when we were driving down the road, some asshole started shooting at us and the vampire bitch told us it was a hunter! Slayer... whatever!

[What was Worth going to do about them being in a house with a crazy clock dude?

Oh well. Conrad can do what he wants.] Um, and you're alright, right?

[Surprising Hanna actually does look concerned. Probably because he was the reason Conrad is recently deceased and enjoying his undead after life.] No holes or anything?

[It was the only thing he could think of at the time. All the same, he looks at Hanna and then down at himself. A few cuts and bruises from skidding across the pavement when he was a bat, but... other than that, he seemed to be in one piece.]

Yeah. Yeah I'm fine. [He crosses his arms and glances at him.]

[Well, besides the two holes in his neck, he's holeless, which is good. Hanna seems to approve.] Good.

I'd feel bad if leaving you outside again was a super bad idea.

But...I'm not actually sure? That whole section is really fuzzy...but I'm not bleeding from any gunshot wound, so I assume it isn't me?

[Which, in retrospect makes him go a little pale.] Oh shit...I need to get back ASAP, fuck. What if it was Toni? Or Hernandez?

[And suddenly a feeling of dread sunk into his chest. That was right. Toni and... Hanna's friend. He unfolds his arms and looks around at their surroundings.]

Maybe they're somewhere around here. I mean, if the two of us showed up here, maybe they did too.

[And maybe then they would get some answers.]

[Hanna doesn't really even wait for Conrad's response, bolting in some direction down the beach is his first instinct.]

Toni? Mercutio?

Jooooordan?

Conrad flinches and soon chases after him.]

HANNA! You idiot! You can't just go running off like this! We need to figure things out!

WHEN DOES THIS BEACH EVEN END?

[And figuring shit out is for losers. His partner could have his arm blown off or Toni could be bleeding somewhere, which is totally not cool.]

Fuck. [And okay, so after a little bit of running, he's kind of just staring out into the endless ocean and trying to rationalize, which isn't his best skill by far.] fuck.

[Conrad catches up to him, but stands a few feet back from him. It wasn't his place to get close to the younger male anyways. That was that... Zombie's job. He always knew what to say.

But he wasn't here. And it was rare to see Hanna like this.]

This is bullshit.

[Just so you know, Conrad.] We get blasted to a different dimension, which is awesome. But our friends could be dying somewhere and we can't even do anything about it.

Kind of puts a huge, giant damper on things. [And he doesn't even know what to say besides that. Pointing out the obvious. In any case, he seems to be having troubles keeping his hands from shaking, currently curled into little fists, but that doesn't seem to help much either.]

[Conrad walks up beside him and sighs heavily, also frustrated.]

We can do something about it. That's why we need to get some goddamn answers. If we can, we can get back home and make sure everyone is alright.

[A beat.]

Except Worth. I'm sure he's fine either way.

[Hanna can at least look up and appreciate his realistic approach, nodding. Even if there really isn't anyone around. Leaving the beach might be a good idea if they wanted some answers.

At his last comment though, he actually cracks a smile, nodding.] Yeah, I'm sure he's fine. Its nice of you to think about him though. I'll be sure to share when we get back.

I-I didn't say anything! He's a stubborn old mule! I-- [Conrad throws his hands up in the air and turns around, stomping through the sand to the nearest route into town.]

[There we go. That's a little more normal, and at the moment Hanna prefers normal, just so maybe they don't have to deal with so much crazy.]

I guess we're bound to find some people sooner or later who can tell us about something! [In the mean time, he's going to try and stare up at the sky to clear his head a little. Cloud's are kind of pretty good at getting rid of the clouds in his own head.]
