[strategizing]

I have the power to create something out of nothing using my strength of will. If you name something, I will create it here and now to prove it to you. That power is called Bending.

[Lelouch gazes at the man at the question. It is one almost everyone asks eventually, but it is interesting that he is still doing so whilst under the impression that this is only a hallucination.]

Your world continues to exist. You can return there to the moment when you left at any time, though things will feel somewhat different when you do. You will find that your course of action there must proceed unchanged from what it would have been had you never come here, so it can feel as if a person is an observer in one's own body.

That is quite an interesting power. At least of persuasion and the utilization of smoke and mirrors. [Perhaps this boy is also a magician. It seems just as likely as being an emperor.

He mulls over the answer and decides right then just how he was to proceed.]

Hmph. As I would have suspected. The whole thing is already surreal. Why not add another layer to that.

It's not the illusion of magic that I refer to. Hold out your hand, if you would.

[Lelouch gives a wry smile at that.]

Surreal is a good word for it. It's fine if you don't believe anything I'm telling you right now. This world breaks a lot of the rules that shape most worlds.

[Simon holds out his hand though he seems quite disinterested]

What sort of trick are you planning on now? I plan to slice through your veil soon enough.

[strategizing]

It is no trick. See for yourself. [Lelouch calmly Bends a glove onto his hand. No sleight of hand could manage that, as he is not even close enough to touch the other man, and the glove itself is contoured to be a perfect fit. He is hoping that this will be a more persuasive display than simply Bending up an apple or the like.]

[ombreux]

[Simon flinches and then puts his other hand to his chest to steady himself. He gives Lelouch a glare, not fond of being taken off guard. After he's certain the glove is not of any harm to him, he first tries to flick it off and then peels it off and tosses it back to Lelouch.]

That was quite interesting. It was as if it appeared out of midair.

[strategizing]

[Lelouch catches the glove, looking slightly amused at the reaction. Irritation is an unusual response.]

That is the idea of Bending. Creating something out of nothing with only one's focus and strength of will. I thought an innocuous demonstration might be better persuasion than any words could be.

[ombreux]

I see. I will spare your nonsense my blade for now.

If this is what you claim, then why am I here?

[strategizing]

You answered a Call to Awaken, though the choice was likely subconscious on your part. It means that you are ready for a higher level of awareness.

[ombreux]

....is this a spiritual realm?

[perhaps he really is already dead. Blocking out memories of death seems plausible.]

[strategizing]

This is not any kind of an afterlife. You are not dead in your world unless you were dying just before you came here.

[ombreux]

I wonder then.

Memory is absurdly unreliable.

[strategizing]

You're not dead, as I've told you.

I come from a world within my world. And in that world, evidence is needed to prove everything. You have proven that you are not a charlatan at least in my mind thus far.

Further proof is necessary.

[it's unclear by this point if Simon is serious or if he's figured out Lelouch's serious nature.]
