It’s okay, it’s confusing for people to find themselves here.

[She smiles though and steps forward a little more. She dips a curtsy.] I’m happy to meet you Mister Heimdall. My name is Jendayi.

[And then head tilts to one side a bit.] Asgard. Does that mean you know Mister Loki?

Confusing is a good word for it, yes. [If there is a smile on his face, it widens now.] It is a pleasure to meet you Jendayi. Can you show me to where there are other adults that -

[At that name, Heimdall's eyebrow raises up, and his movements still. His smile remains frozen on his face, but his eyelids lower so that the child cannot see the emotion within.]

I knew a Loki, yes. Does this mean that you know him, Jendayi?

[She catches that look, and gives him a knowing smile.] Yes... You don’t like him much do you?

He’s been here a while, and he’s changed. For the better.

[She still remembered what he’d said about himself in one storm not too long back. That he’s an Angelii now tells her he’s changed, and she truly believes that to be for the better.]

I know his mother is here too, Miss Frigga? And his brother arrived recently too, I think.

Whether I like him or not is not important. Not here, not now. [No, there is no way that he would involve a child in anything to do with his personal feelings about the trickster.]

I am curious as to why you think that he's changed, however.

It's how this place works. Nautilus is also called the City of Change. When people change they ascend, gain more responsibilities for the city and other worlds. Loki was recently made Angelii, the next level up from what we are. That would only happen if Nautilus felt he'd changed.

[For the good or bad isn't a concern of the city, but Jendayi really does believe for the better.]

Nautilus, the city of change. And Loki has changed, you say? You know this?

[She believed. Whatever else was going on in this place, the child had faith in her knowledge. Interesting. However, in his mind there was just the matter of one not-so-little thing that this 'city of change' may not have taken into consideration. But that he would not forget.]

Lady Frigga and - Thor? Thor is here also? Can you bring me to - no. On second thought, where is the closest place where adults gather together? Can you show me that?

Nautilus wouldn't have made him an Angelii if he hadn't.

[She smiles, nodding to his questions about Frigga and Thor. To the last, though.]

Well, everyone's all spread out. Maybe you'd like to go to the Welcome House? There's one in each district.

The Welcome House. Yes, let's start there. And while we are on the way, why don't you tell me where you stay? And who cares for you?

Do you think they would be concerned that you are out and about like this?

[No, he's not going to judge, he is however going to be concerned if he wants to.]

[She giggles.] I stay at the Beacon in the North, but really most of the people here look after me. So long as I don't go to the West alone I can go anywhere in Nautilus. I have my wind and I'm strong in Bending.

Uncle Magnus is out right now, but Mister Megatron is looking after the Beacon and everyone there. And then Drift, Uncle Rodimus, Uncle Optimus, Pipes, Wing, and Rung live at the Beacon right now too. And my dog, Missile, but he doesn't look after me, I look after him.

[Sorry Heimdall, she can be a chatty thing. At least she's started walking them towards the Welcome House? In fact she just might take his hand if he seems okay with that.]

[There is more than one reason that Heimdall was sometimes known in the sagas as 'the father of humanity', (a fact that Loki should have remembered) and of course, if she offers her hand, he will take it. Walking slowly, his long stride shortened to keep up with hers, and his helm under his arm with both gloves tucked in it, he will walk with her toward the Welcome House]

So tell me more about bending. And then, tell me about your dog. [He keeps his voice low, and occasionally - though no one would ever believe it - the giant in the gold armor smiles.]

[She’ll start with the easy subject.] Missile? He’s so sweet. He’s about this big. [She holds up her hands to indicate his size. He’s a small dog.] But he looks this big because he’s so fluffy. [She spreads her hands apart to about double the size.] He likes to bark, and play, and snuggle up on my lap. I love him a lot.

As far as Bending, it’s the ability to make whatever you want. You use your will and your imagination to make what you want or need. It’s easiest to make things you’re familiar with, because the more details you know the better what you make will come out.

Food tends to be the easiest, and personal items. [Want a pear? She’s going to hold up a hand and Bend one up before offering it up to him with a grin.]

He sounds like a good dog. How old is he?

[He stops walking, turning to stare at her.] You mean that anyone, everyone has ability to bend? And they can create anything? [That actually earns a blink of surprise when the pear appears in the small child's hand, followed by a whirlwind of concern in his mind. If anyone has this ability, and it's based on strength of will? hrmm.]

That is quite the ability, Jendayi. I thank you. He tosses the pear into the air, just a few inches, catching it again to feel the weight. Then he turns it back and forth, looking at it from one side to the other.]

Can you unbend things as well? [He looks down at her curiously.]
