Keep moving. She has to keep moving.

These thoughts are what drive her as the girl wanders through the unfamiliar terrain of Nautilus. Only the tall buildings she passes trigger even the faintest sense of recognition, trees all too foreign to her after her previous trails had led through various portions of Gotham. The city name is one she knows only from repeated exposure, and that, alongside her own name, are all she retains.

Hands tucked into the cuffs of her sleeves, Annie walks with a tendency to rush through open spaces and linger only briefly by cover, whether it be a tree, a building, or simply a large stone.

It's rare for Edward to be out walking in the city, even rarer for him to take notice of anyone nearby. But the young girl he spots exploring the area catches his attention. He doesn't know many in the city, but he's certain he has never seen her before. Curious, he watches her wander about. He realizes from her posture and the way she shies from staying in one spot even for a moment, the girl is certainly lost, and scared. He can't just ignore that. He walks over to her, his steps soft but audible.

"Everything okay? Are you lost?" As he approaches, he turns the masked side of his face slightly away from her. He isn't by any stretch an imposing figure--slight, really--but the scars still visible under the mask aren't pleasant to look at, and the girl doesn't need even more cause to feel afraid.

Like normal during the day, a blue hedgehog was busy taking a nap in one of the higher branches in the trees. As it so happened it was one of the trees that a strange girl ducked under for cover. Her presence caused the hedgehog to crack his eye open and look down curiously.

Was it just him, or did she look like she was hiding?

"Yo." Sonic called without moving from his perch. "You lost or somethin'?"

Does cover include overweight cats wearing rocket boots? ...probably not.

"Watch your head!" This warning comes only seconds before a very weary-looking cat who is indeed wearing rocket boots, zooms down on Annie, apparently on a collision course with her face.

Wigglytuff | Pokemon Mystery Dungeon

If anyone said that he should have been worried about waking up in a strange place that was completely unlike anything he'd ever seen, Wigglytuff would have wondered why. It wasn't really his nature to worry about small things like that. Instead, he was just going to take a walk and see what interesting Pokemon he could find and meet. And hopefully another Perfect Apple.

It seemed like a nice day for a walk too, so Wigglytuff had set off with no particular direction in mind. Although anyone who saw him would probably think less of walking and more of leisurely waddling along.

[So this definitely wasn't New York. And Tomes definitely wasn't anywhere in sight--which wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

But Gwen had no idea where she was. It crossed her mind that maybe this was another Spider-meetup thing, which wouldn't be so bad because hey she'd get to see Peter again, but she hadn't found anyone familiar. No other spiders whatsoever.

Which made it all the more weird.

Perched on top of a building, Gwen frowned behind her mask, chin propped in her hand as she glanced around, headphones not in for once because being in a new place? She needed to hear; spider-senses or not.]

[ And, invited or not, this old man simply squats down next to her. Where he has suddenly come from? No one knows. It's just a thing he does.

At first, he doesn't seem to be paying attention to her, despite his initial response, but soon enough his glance shifts over to Gwen and he gives a lazy smile. ]

[In the western district there is a unique truck that certainly seems to not be aware of it's location for a few minutes.

Then it stops and if a truck could look slightly confused? It does, before a sound like unto "tsche-tsche-tschu" is the only warning before it transforms. Looks like another Cybertronian has shown up, as Perceptor takes in his surroundings. Noting the red sky and some of the Cybertronian-esque buildings, but this is not Iacon.

The scientist seems more focused on looking around then anyone, or anything, he may run into. Like spiders, or Decepticons.]

she tries to remain calm and aloof, despite the fact she's internally flipping her shit. the stupid robonoids were supposed to fix the stupid warp pad, not... whatever this is. the gem forms a datapad out of her fingers, tapping, sliding and frowning. there's nothing on this place in her data.

glancing around briefly, she speaks quietly into the floating green pad:] It appears the Homeworld warp pad from the Galaxy Warp may have been damaged worse than I originally thought. It's possible whatever compromised the site tampered with the pads in ways that were not picked up by the assigned robonoids.

[peridot rubs her chin, making a pensive 'hmmm' sound.]

There's got to be some way to go back...

[she didn't arrive on a warp pad, after all. this entire situation just screams 'ambush.' best to keep out the way, she thinks.]

Pearl crouches behind a nearby bush, rather quickly, hoping the green gem had not seen her. Or the bush rustle. Her pale blue eyes peek out of the bush, her chest pounding with adreniline.

[Pearl supposed that it wasn't strange to see one here, but. It was not a welcoming sight.]

That's okay, though. This isn't the first time good ol' Captain Charlie has found himself stranded on a bizarre alien world. He might not be 100% sure as to how he got here, but that doesn't make him any less of the daring and brave Space Captain that he knows he is.

It certainly doesn't look like any species Koppai has met or studied before (not that he's an expert in that field, mind you, but he's familiar enough to get by). It - she? - seems intelligent enough to speak, at least, which can only mean one thing:

[Connie was watching from behind a tree: she should be wary, if for no other reason than this was a GEM, and one she didn't know. This gem was at least as analytical as Pearl, but...not. There was something cold there, like one of the characters from her books: a being made of logic, whose calculations were precise but without that spark of pride or at least accomplishment Pearl normally showed.

She should know who this gem was, Steven walked about them so often, but this one was a mystery. Lime green, look of indifference...who could she be?]

[The only sound one will hear coming from the newest Wakened to tumble out of a gate is a loud gasp, before the... person? (The completely blue color of this person may make calling them human a bit odd.) Almost collapses to the ground.]

What is... [She starts to mutter, as she gets to her feet a bit unsteadily. And as soon as she takes notice of where she is there is another loud gasp, because this is not where she should be and Lapis is most certainly alone. So now she is going to wander around, upset and confused and scared.]

[dorito has a hand on her hip, eyeing lapis suspiciously. there's not actually much peridot can do without any weapons or backup, but she's certain lapis won't try to screw up more than she has already.]

[Jeez. Captain Charlie had thought that the life-forms on PNF-404 were huge, but this? This is ridiculous.

Upon arrival, Charlie had been understandably pretty confused and a little upset. He just sort of showed up here, missing his ship, his crew, his rubber ducky, and his veritable platoon of undyingly loyal leaf people. That's a lot of stuff to go suddenly missing!

Alright, admittedly, he's pretty sure that he's the one who went suddenly missing, but that's still a pretty terrible thing to happen.

Still, confused and displaced or not, that doesn't excuse him from doing everything he can in order to survive and escape this place. First thing's first: Setting off the distress beacon on his suit, and getting himself to safety as quickly as possible.

Keen eyes - or anyone looking at the ground, really - may notice an inch-high humanoid creature in a space suit, running around underfoot, desperately trying not to get stepped on. It's an effort that seems to be wearing him out fairly quickly, given the sounds sounds he's starting to make.

More mechanically inclined characters, however, may pick up on the surprisingly powerful distress signal his suit is giving off. The message is a simple SOS relay, but it's more than enough to find his location with.]

[Being the God of Destruction is a tiring feat. Oddly enough, when he awakens, he's actually asleep in the Northern District. He is currently curled up in the grassy feild, tail curled around him as he sleeps soundly. His large ears twitch in the light breeze and his egyptian-esque clothing ruffles in it as well.

His horned helm was already off, set to the side where he could reach it easily. With it was the small, hand-held, flat-screen computer that he had found upon arrival. His sword however remained in it's sheath at the warrior's back.]

[Bringing it up to his face he smelled, then slurped the water from his hand. A branch snapped nearby and the giant's eyes slid around to the side toward the noise. Rising up to his feet, he turned toward the sound. He didn't reach for his weapon, not yet at least.]
