It was probably still not a good idea to walk around calling for someone like this. But hey, he had to make sure the others where alright!
Which, really didn't make it any better that he was suddenly pounced on. Definitely nothing he had anticipated out of the blue. "Wah!" And down he went onto the dirt, just barely managing to turn onto his back to see what had been attacking him.
"Howlett...?" No, wait... that one looked so much younger and was in different clothes... So he really was in a different dimension again?
no subject
"Who's Howlett?" he asked, wrinkling his nose. "An' who're you supposed to be? You look familiar..." One of Kitty's friends, wasn't it?
no subject
"Ah!" How do you tell someone that it was a different version of them? Especially when Howlett never mentioned that to the younger version they had met before, because he didn't want him to know? "You look like a friend of mine!" Smooth. "I'm Kurt! Kurt Waggoner. What's your name?" Because one is not supposed to know names from people you supposedly haven't met before. Especially when they don't know about the multiverse.
no subject
"Kurt, huh? The fuzzy blue elf guy! Yer from Excalibur, right? Do you know Kitty?" Although come to think of it, wasn't that Nightcrawler older too? Eh, whatever. This one smells kind of different too, now that he thought about it.
"Me- I'm Wolverine, but everyone calls me Wolvie." He shrugged. He didn't seem to be inclined to get off of Kurt at the moment either.
no subject
No one had called him fuzzy blue elf yet, so that was a new name for him and he'll cock his head to the side in thought. "Excalibur? Kitty?" Now that he thought about it. He remembered that Scott mentioning the names once. "Ah! I've met a Kitty I think, though she wanted to be called Shadow instead, but I'm not from Excalibur. I think that was the other me. He was really cool."
He'll move below the other, his tail twitching uncomfortably. "Hey Wolvie. Can you get up please? You're squishing my tail."
no subject
Wolvie seemed to consider whether to get off or not. Finally he hopped to the side, head tilting expectantly at Kurt.
no subject
"Uhm. I'm just me... the other one was from a different dimension." Well, that's that with not mentioning this. "What overstuffed potato?"
He is glad to be able to sit up and uses that opportunity to rub blood into his tail again. Urgh. That was a bad way to lie on it.
no subject
"-oh, whashisface- Mojo? You know, big, blubby- makes a great pincushion?"
no subject
"Huh? I don't think I know someone like this."
no subject
Oh well.
"That's okay too, I guess. Anyway, he's the one that made us X-Babies. We're his movie stars're somethin'- but he gets pushy."
no subject
That actually did sound like some kind of movie one would make.
"Is there one that looks like me too?" In 'baby-form' that is, since it seems Wolvie kind of knew him at least.
no subject
"Nope. It's just me, Stormy, Havok, Colossus, Rogue, Dazzler, Longshot, Psylocke, ummmm....aaw poots, I think that's it?" That sounded about right anyway.
no subject
"I know a Storm! And Dazzler became our leader when we journeyed through dimensions! We even met a second one, but..." And here he looks a bit sad and frowns. "...she died saving us."
no subject
Wolvie looked away at the mention of a second Dazzler, frowning. "Well that poots."
no subject
Though he nods with a solemn face. "But she smiled... I think the world she came from had already been ruined. That other Nightcrawler came from the same world too..."
no subject
The X-Baby shrugged. "That's pretty depressing. So does that mean our worlds got ruined too, an' that's why we're here?"
no subject
Though being reminded of his world, makes him suddenly go very very quiet. Even his tail was only twitching just slightly in nervousness and his ears seemingly drooping a bit. "I don't know, but there is no reason to go back to my world anymore." It's not something he liked to talk about.
no subject
The shift in mood wasn't lost on him as he glanced at Kurt. He sighed, turning as he folded his arms behind his head.
"Anyway, we're not gettin' anywhere just standing around. I'm hungry. Let's go find some grub."
no subject
He jumps up from the ground, tail twisting in the air. The blue mutant was actually glad for the change of topic and now that Wolvie mentioned that he was hungry, he kind of felt the same way.
"Do you think we can find a place to get food here?" Though he'll start walking either way.
no subject
Wolvie looked around, sniffing. "If there's a place, I'll find it for sure!"
What the...... That ICON. AYA, NO! (How did I miss that the first time you used it?!)
"That's true. I'm sure this place has other people living here too." After the sniffing, Kurt cocks his head. "Found a trace?"
*CRIES* LOL He was being a brat to Kitty. And then Colossus punched him the nose (again)
"'dis way!" he said, right before dashing off. And people wondered how Wolvie got his friends into trouble.
With that face, no wonder.
Kurt followed right after. He would have actually teleported to be faster, but when he got here he had noticed that it didn't work here. It was weird, after getting used to teleporting like that. Now he had to actually run again to keep track of the other.
xD
At least the kid wasn't terribly fast himself. While being small helped him along, his legs were short, and running and hopping about only carried him so far. Around another corner he came to a stop again, pausing to sniff before rushing off once more. The skies seemed to be growing red as they continued in that direction.
no subject
At least he could keep up with the other this way, though the change of the sky color made him feel a bit uneasy. Was it just a sunset? Or something else...
"Wolvie!"
