[Nino stops in surprise at a sudden robot flying to his face and removes his headphones. He blinks in confusion since he doesn't recognize him.] Uh, how do you know my name? [Wait a sec.] Max? As in, Max Kanté? Do you know him?

[He's disturbed by that revelation, though - forgive him. Temporal dissociation is a whole new ballgame for him. At least he can tell Nino doesn't mean to be offensive?]

Yeah I am. I guess you must be from the future 'cause it was still Christmas the last time I was home. Wow, that's pretty rad. I knew the guy was a genius, but man. [Now that he's calm, he'll get to his other questions.] Anyway, this is the city of Nautilus. A whole another world entirely. I'm not sure if you're familiar with the Multi Universe Theory, but it's basically that. I haven't seen Max here yet, but I'm sure he'll show up eventually. This place seems to like Parisians lately so it might only be a matter of time.

[So he'll just have to take Nino's word on it - since both of them being here is a fact. And Max potentially being able to show up here is reassuring, but...]

[Nino nods.] Adrien ran away from home and we all went out looking for him. Then there was that Santa akuma going around, but luckily Ladybug and Chat Noir took care of him. Adrien ended up back home safe and sound, and all of us from the whole class spent Christmas at Adrien's place. I was heading home after a while when I blacked out and ended up here. [That makes sense. Even with all the Akumas and stuff, there was still things back home that are considered not real.] Basically it's the idea of there existing many different versions of the same world, as well as other worlds in general. The universe is a big place. [It's simplifying it, but it works. He isn't Max after all.] Not yet. The gates won't let you go back until you have stayed here for a few days. There's places to stay in the meantime like the welcome houses.

Since I presume Max actually explained what Akumaization was after the episode ended...

[Wow! While Max had explained about Ladybug and Chat Noir's exploits, he hadn't known just how disruptive Papillon's machinations were on a regular basis.]

Blacked out? Then have we been stolen from our homes?

That seems unfair, but... can we explore this Nautilus, in the meantime?

Well sorta. We were called to "awaken" by Nautilus and ended up here.

Sure, you can if you wanna.

[He doesn't see the harm in that.]

It's a big place, there's four districts. North, East, South and West. North has a lot of fog, as well as both the new Big Ben and a smaller Eiffel Tower. East has a beach and lot of water. South has a forest and a swamp. And west... is not a good place to be.

The sky there is not only red, but the river there is made of liquid mercury. Not to mention monsters there. The only good thing about the West, aside from the Welcome House there, is there's a fast food place there where you can get plushies.

Wow! Is Nautilus powerful enough to steal people and objects?

Or are those buildings replicas?

[Which makes enough sense, as it's not as if people can't replicate those buildings back home.]

Are there 'monsters' only in the West?
