A bit startled, he looked up quickly towards the figure kneeling there. It was clear from her apparel that she was a warrior of some kind, or at least he assumed she was, and she seemed friendly enough. She wasn't outright hostile, not yet, anyways. But he wasn't sure how much he could trust her, or what information she ought to be trusted with, for that matter.

"...I'm lost," he said finally, deciding that even if it wasn't the full story, the truth couldn't hurt. "And I'm looking for someone. Two people, actually." Whatever was going on here as far as his magic was concerned, it wasn't important at the moment. He could fix everything if he just got back to where he was supposed to be. Surely she had to know something that could help.

She nodded sympathetically. "Yeah, I'm sure you are," she said, gently. "We all are, here. This place likes to kidnap people and keep us here. But there have been worse places, and I'm trying to find a way out. I'll do whatever I can to help you, okay? I'm a Hawk back home, and on the Task Force here. It means it is my job to protect people. And to find people. If they're here, we'll find them, okay?" She asked.
