Billy shook his head. "My research is incomplete, but as I understand it isn't like warping between points on Earth, or even between planets. Or even Goldar's dark dimension. We're in an entirely different plane of existence, and even if we chose to return, we'd have no ability to alter the course of our world."

He was still slightly fuzzy on what that entailed, but it sounded serious. Something to preserve the timeline...but were their experiences here then meaningless?

[speaks_billy]

"But if we're here.... the others are looking for us, and have to fight without us. We can't just stay here Billy. We'll have to find a way back. We will find a way back, we always do. Right?"

[morphitudinous]

"I'm not sure that's true," Billy frowned, trying to remember all he'd absorbed. "From their perspective, as I understand it, it will be as if we never left. Almost as if we have clones filling our places. And if we did somehow return, we'd fit right back into the timeline and be unable to carry our experience forward."

[speaks_billy]

She frowned a bit at that. "Surely our friends could tell the difference, couldn't they? And Zordon and Alpha would sense it...?" Except for how often Rita had that exact plan and how long she often got away with it. This... this was not good.

[morphitudinous]

"It's possible, but hasn't happened before if my research is correct. There are other stronger Wakened beings who may have more power, but it takes considerable effort."

Billy frowned. "My research is far from complete. The concepts are difficult for me to understand."

[speaks_billy]

"I'll help," she offered, without hesitation. "Between us, hopefully we can make some sense of this and do what we need to do." To get back before Kim and the others were in serious danger.
