And there was the realisation. She could see it sinking in. Ah well, it saved explanations later, she supposed.

And then she realised this one was a hugger. They were all different, and really she hadn't had much time to get to know this one yet, so it was all good information to file away, even if the hug itself was slightly awkward. "Nautilus?" she asked as she pulled away, frowning slightly. "Never heard of it."

Kate may or may not also notice the black onyx ring on his marriage finger. Which was for sure not there when she met this face.

She might also note that he's not crunching in the snow because he doesn't have his shoes on and might see his big toes sticking out of the snow.

"A place out of time that connects all the multiverses and all the timelines."

Ten watches her carefully, seeing what she makes of that information.

She was taking in as much as she could about him - it was part of her job, after all. She certainly noticed the lack of shoes - it was fairly obvious. Her only response was to pull her jacket a little closer round her body.

"Which I'm fairly sure I shouldn't be able to enter from the New Forest," she pointed out. "Or from anywhere without something like the TARDIS." It was faintly disturbing that she was here. She had no reason to mistrust the Doctor, given how convinced he sounded regarding it.

Ten states that with the utmost certainty! After all, he's actually been out in the multiverse at this point.

Ten notices Kate pull the coat closer and with the flick of his wrist; quite literal arranges the loose molecules in the air around them and arranges them to make a rather familiar long scarf and offers that to Kate.

"Forest. Swamp. Desert. Beach. Ocean and a city. The Tardis is here... As is Rose, Jack, Ianto, Romana - Lady Me," Lady Me has a distaste to her name, "River, and a few of my other faces."

Well now. That was new. But it got nothing but a raised eyebrow as she took the scarf and began to wrap it around her neck. "Thank you," she murmured, truly grateful. It was rather chilly.

A lot of the names he reeled off she knew - Jack and Ianto especially. Romana was vaguely familiar, but she would have to try and remember that. Lady Me? That was someone she didn't know, at least not that she could remember. "A few of your other faces?" That stuck out. "Should I be worried about more than one of you? The world won't come to an end, will it?"

Meanwhile, Ten is leading them out of the forest and towards the Gate and rudely remarks; "Was that suppose to be a funny thing?"

"Given any time multiple yous are seen together, there is some barely avoided catastrophe not far behind, it would be a fair assumption," she pointed out with a barely concealed smile. "Forgive me for being concerned."

Ten almost wishes more catastrophe things happened around here; excitement and maybe himselves would be able to work together - rather than - let's just say they don't all get along peacefully.


"Not all of me get along with myself." Ten remarks dryly, as well as too long as well.

A pause and less dry; "You'll in for a treat, you are. My face that knew your father is here."
