He stands in the middle of the Northern District, face scrunched and cigarette forgotten in his hand. Nothing was familiar, his mind rolling through city after city after city in an attempt to pick where he was. But, it was useless. This was not familiar, not even from books or televisions.

Flicking the cigarette to the ground and stepping on it he shrugs, oh well, it was clean and relatively modern. Nothing to worry about for the moment. He whistled an old song and started down the street, wobbling a bit as his feet tried to catch up to the rhythm of the city.

"Damned place. can't get a 'old of it." The accent was warm, a meld of Creole and Barbados, "Can't get 'old of anyone come t'ink a it." So alone...but not unarmed, he'd had worse odds.

"Oh!" He came to a swaying stop, staring straight up at the sign reading 'Furman's Bar'. "Now 'is place...'as merits."

Waaa! That was such a good nap! Odd, that Najaran didn't remember falling asleep... but someone told her to WAKE and she did. Odd though.... Master Horowitz usually wasn't so nice when he woke her, usually he screamed at her. 'Course usually by the time she heard him he'd been calling for a while. And it didn't sound like Goligan's voice. Almost sounded a bit like... "Kigi...?" she asked as she pushed herself into a sitting position, her large earrings swatting against her neck as they swayed.

But by the time she was sitting she knew it couldn't have been Kigi. Kigi was....

She swallowed hard and reached behind herself pulling a single card from her deck. Gargoyle. She rested it lightly against her forehead and closed her eyes. "Not gone," she whispered to the card. "She's not gone, she's right here."

She put the card back in her deck, surprised at how difficult it was. Then she looked around for the first time. Goligan would have given her a bruise for that, for not noticing where she was sooner. Alta would have given her a hard time too. Which really wasn't fair, since Ganz was usually too drunk to know where he was, and Joaquin only ever knew where he was in his book.

She sulked a bit as she took in her surroundings. Where on Rakan was she? She'd never seen any place quite like this. She groped around on the ground for...

There was no cane beside her, no walking stick. Where could he have gone? She pushed to her feet on her own, used to having Goligan to lean on, physically as well as emotionally. Where was she? How had she gotten here? Dimension Door?

She rubbed sleep from her eyes, trying to remember. She had been with Master Horowitz, looking for Zeenith Dragon-Eye... And now....

She stumbled back. "This... this isn't good...." she said softly to herself, horror dawning as she realized that she had just vanished from Master Horowitz's ship and had wound up somewhere utterly unfamiliar. And she was alone. This was not good. Not good. Her master was going to be SO ANGRY!

"IT ISN'T MY FAULT!" she called, hoping that if she was loud enough, he would hear her. She didn't stop to think about who else might hear her as well. "I DIDN'T MEAN TO LEAVE, MASTER!"

Could he open a Dimension Door and bring her back? She didn't think he had that card, but then again, she hadn't known a lot about him before he sent her off to Grubel. Her Master said that the titles and the history don't matter, that she knew him better than anyone did but...

She sniffed.

But she didn't even know what was in his deck! In his secret snack hiding places, sure. In his bathroom, unfortunately. She even knew about his Dragon Eye, now. But Dimension Door?

She clutched her hands in front of her, empty, almost imagining she could hear Goligan complaining that she was strangling him. She hadn't felt so alone in a very long time... and she was coming to discover that she didn't like it....

"I've chosen a side." Newt said softly, embracing his brother but the next thing he realized was that he was waking up. Had he even been tired? After everything that happened, Newt reasoned, he must have been, but he'd have never fallen asleep there with his brother and Jacob around to worry about.

Taking a moment, Newt looked over himself, checked for his wand, his case. Content that he was mostly intact- Niffler and Pickett seem to have been missing- he decided that exploring and getting his bearings was probably the best course of action.

"Hello- yes excuse me. Do you have a moment?"

[Newt took a little while to figure this out. Figure it out he did though so here he is, in all of his awkward glory, Hufflepuff scarf wrapped around his neck and all.]

Hello, sorry to bother you all. My name is Newt Scamander, I'm a- ah, I study animals. [Different as this place is, he should still be careful with the Statute of Secrecy.] The more unique the better.

I was hoping to hear about any you all may have encountered. For a book. I've been working on a book about them.

Kate would love to say that this was new, but sometimes finding yourself in a place where you didn't expect did come with the territory. What was new was not being able to work out where she was within five or so minutes.

Twenty minutes after beginning to walk around, she had no more information than when she started, and she was starting to get frustrated. It really was intolerable, which was why she was staring at the architecture intently, hands on hips as she tried to search for any detail that would help.

[ooc: No intention of apping for now. Just getting a feel back for one very-rusty old voice + trying things out. Also continutity is mainly the G1 cartoon, but pulling a few smatterings from the comics + later series (such as Primus, etc)]

So this wasn't the biggest city Air Raid had ever seen, not by far, but it was brand-new to him, so the mech has gone exploring, checking out the various districts. The Cybertronian-sized buildings defintely catch his interest, and he pokes around them more thoroughly... disheartened to find that most are empty and abandoned. He ends up finding the Northern district very interesting. Big Ben, and the smaller-than-normal Eiffel Tower get a curious glance out of him, as he's seen the real things before on various flights over Europe, and he wonders if they were the real thing, pulled into this reality, or just copies; in the end he realizes it doesn't make much difference. Med Bay, even if it does seemed to be staffed by organics, really does feel like Ratchet would be right at home there. The Transfomer-sized buildings next to it look like they could have housed a bunch of mechs, but... like the other buildings, it seems to have been empty for ages. Furman's Bar is cool, and hey! It even serves energon! Air Raid thinks he might have heard some of the older Autobots mentioning something about a Furmans, maybe. There just weren't any here to ask...

B.

Air Raid was bored. There really wasn't much for the lone-Transformer in the city to do. Much like on Earth, every 'fun' thing was human-sized! And he really couldn't go flying off to another city, or another continent or anything... so for the moment, Air Raid was entertaining himself by flying out over an open patch of ocean, and seeing how many loop-de-loops he could pull off in a row before he got dizzy, and/or his engines stalled out. Either way ended up with him crashing down into the ocean, transforming at the last minute for a spectacular bellyflop - it created a huge splash, but didn't really cause TOO much serious damage, and he'd trudge along the bottom of the sea floor back to dry land and sit in the sun for a bit until everything dried out, and try again. Currently he was up to 16 loop-de-loops in a row, and was pulling up into number 17.

In comparison to most people in a similar position, Albus looks downright fascinated by his new surroundings. He has drawn his wand for safety's sake, but the tip is pointed towards the ground. While he hasn't a clue where he has landed - Apparation can be so tricky (though usually not to this degree!) - he senses his life has taken a turn for the strange.

Maybe he welcomes it.

"Say, could you give me a moment of your time?" he is absolutely polite and calm - at least outwardly, "I don't think I meant to come here exactly."

Magic can be so lovely. Albus is sitting in a garden, a flock of charmed bluebirds flapping about him merrily. He raises a hand to offer a perch and one of them lands on his finger, fluffing its breast feathers.

No, Albus Dumbledore is not a Disney princess, but he does have a strong affinity and fondness for birds! It runs in his blood, you see.

"Enjoy yourself while you can, my friend." for the spell will only last so long. What a shame.

The marketplace was busy as usual but there is a somewhat new face in it. Leanne was grabbing any fruit or nuts to eat before flying up quickly to eat it at a safe place. From the safety of her perch, she goes to watch people as they shop.

B

Serenes.... What was Serenes doing here? The Heron was confused at the sight of her home being in this strange world. She was exploring it, hearing it's greetings and happiness at her return. Eventually, once she enters the middle of the glade, she goes to start singing, letting Serenes echo her songs throughout it.

There was something about an adventure. Jenny wasn't sure whether it was in her DNA (probably) or something that had been added, like the programming on the history of the planet she'd been born on (wrong, so wrong) and knowledge of things like how to speak and how to shoot a gun (maybe). Or maybe it was just her. But whatever it was, waking up and finding herself in a different location probably filled the average person with terror or confusion. Instead, all Jenny felt was a tight knot of anticipation in her stomach.

Maybe some people thought that there was supposed to be some purpose to a journey. Some beginning, middle, and end that had to be accomplished before being able to rest. Maybe, she thought after reading a little about this place she'd found herself, some might even think she'd reached the start of the next phase of her journey.

Ascension. It seemed the be all and end all for this place. The goal that everyone was supposed to want.

But Jenny had never been a particularly goal-oriented person unless you included the short-term goal of getting out of one trouble in order to get into the next. So she would wait and see and if Ascension or this place sounded like the end of the journey, she'd simply find a way out of it.

But first, she had to find one of those Welcome House places. What kind of direction was 'down the street from the Medbay' when you didn't know where the Medbay was? Maybe the device she'd found had some kind of map. She took it out, dropped her head to browse through the thing (she'd hack it if she had to), and started walking. She'd get nowhere by standing there and looking stupid.

On finding himself waking to a place that he didn't recognize, Takato only had one question. Could he have made it to the Digital World again? Could he meet Guilmon again?

He immediately pulls his D-Arc out of his pocket and starts frantically pressing the buttons on the device, hoping that it could tell him something.

"Come on," he mutters under his breath. "Where is the tracker? It has to be on one of these screens."

Action:
Two things are true. The first is that there is water everywhere. It sluices down along the sides of the streets in little burbling eddies, which would be incredibly convenient for someone with Katara’s abilities.

The second true thing, however, is that Katara is frustrated. “Just bend your powers back into reality, they said,” she huffs to no one in particular, affecting a mocking tone. It’s bad enough to find herself alone in a strange place without her friends there with her, but it’s even worse that she’s here now without the benefit of the power that she’d sweated and bled to hone. Where is Sokka? Where are Aang, Toph, and Zuko? Were they lost, too? Or were they together, wondering where she’d gone? Surely they would be worried.

Turning to look down at the little roadside stream, she gestures sharply, lifting her hand and pulling her fingers together. The water splashes, but she can’t be sure if that’s her doing or just a little surge in the flow coming from upstream.

Three things are true, it seems, and the third is that she’s going to have to bend her bending, as ridiculous as that sounds in her mind. “Guess I might as well get started.”

Network:
So, maybe this is a silly question, but are there any other benders here? Not the... the kind of bending they do here, but... Elemental benders, I mean: earth, fire, wind, or water. I guess maybe a better question is if anyone from the Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, or Water Tribes is here? Maybe even an Air Nomad?

[The feed cuts on and Roxas spends a few seconds messing with the camera before opting to put it on top of his shelf so it shows most of his body from a downward angle. He reaches off camera and then pulls into view a gallon jug of chocolate milk. Yes, a gallon.

He's a teen on a mission here.

He then unscrews the cap, silently looking directly into the camera, lifting it up to his mouth and starts chugging it. It takes him about a minute to finish it, mainly because he needs to take a few breaths in between. He still needs to breathe occasionally here.

After he's finished with it, he slams the jug down on his desk for emphasis.]
