The small orange cat walked up to him and the birds, looked at the birds, then sat beside them and looked the man directly in the eyes. "Birds are fine, but fish are better," he said, simply.

A talking cat! He looked delighted, tilting his head to get a better look at the orange beauty.

"Fish, you say? Do you have a type you favor? Salmon? Trout?"

"I like all fish, but for a musical mood, tuna is best. Goes well with beans. And after you tuna the dish you can play the scales you scraped off."

Yes. He did just make all of those jokes with a perfectly straight face. Though he is thrilled at the implication that you will feed him.

He laughed in surprise and brought forth a plate of tuna. No beans, however; he wasn't sure how good those were for a cat's digestive tract. Though they were musical!

"You're witty. What is your name?"

He leapt towards the food and dug in at once. "Spark," he answered around a mouthful of fish.

He liked this guy already.

Albus didn't mind in the least. Spark would have his back rubbed too while he ate if he allowed it.

"Hello, Spark. I'm Albus."

He not only allowed it, he leaned into it.

He would have made a joke on the name, but this felt too good. Fish and scritches. He was going to have to inform Adrien and Ten. They were keeping this one.

What a good cat. Albus would have accepted the joke in stride for he had many names. Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore to be exact. His parents were having too much fun choosing names.

"Are you feeling better?"

Spark looked up from the now empty plate. "No, now I am sad, because the fish is gone." More fish....?

"Are you sure you can eat more?" he brought out his wand, looking skeptical, "I don't want you sick."

"Now you sound like Connie," he said, rolling his eyes. "My kitty tummy is invincible."

"It is until it hurts." he rubbed one of Spark's ears, "Then you will be yowling."

yowling indeed.

"Pfft. Not me. Try it and find out!"

"Very well..." he transfigured another rock into a nice dish of tuna, "Eat slow."

Seriously? Slow? Yeah right. Just for that he gobbled as fast as he could. "Next?"

Albus was going to run out of stones long before Spark would admit to being full.

then he grinned. "Wait, if you are Bending stones into fish does that make any stew you cook into stone soup?"

This must be a young cat. Perhaps even a teenage cat.

They never listened.

"That fish is going to feel like a stone in your stomach." he teased, reaching out to tickle his fuzzy side.

"Oh! you were worried about gallstones? Well that's just galling!" He accepted the tickles, but the matter of more fish has not been dropped, mister.

"Sir Spark, I'm not sure what to do with you." Albus conjured some more tuna and stretched out his legs, enjoying the fine weather.

"Feed me. obviously."
