[The feed cuts on and Roxas spends a few seconds messing with the camera before opting to put it on top of his shelf so it shows most of his body from a downward angle. He reaches off camera and then pulls into view a gallon jug of chocolate milk. Yes, a gallon.

He's a teen on a mission here.

He then unscrews the cap, silently looking directly into the camera, lifting it up to his mouth and starts chugging it. It takes him about a minute to finish it, mainly because he needs to take a few breaths in between. He still needs to breathe occasionally here.

After he's finished with it, he slams the jug down on his desk for emphasis.]

Meet me at the swamp at 3 AM if you want to fight.

[Honestly Sora's not even remotely fazed by the kid chugging a whole gallon of milk on the Network. He'd do the same. It's standard teen business, of course.]

Alright! What sort of fight? Because I think I could do pretty good in a sword fight, but if it's wrestling than I dunno... [He trails off, scratching his cheek thoughtfully before his eyes widen with realization.]

Wait, three AM?! I can't stay up that late! ...Or wake up that early! [DONALD WOULD KILL HIM IF HE KNEW]

[It's fine, Donald's not here to stop him. What he doesn't know can't hurt him.]

How do you know for sure? Have you ever tried?

[Roxas pauses and takes a moment to think before answering Sora's question, staring off into space and humming to himself. This was a silly spur of the moment kind of deal and he really didn't think that far ahead, but this kid is taking it seriously so he may as well just go all the way through with it.]

Uhh, sword fight. Yeah. I'm not too good at wrestling either, so we've got something in common.

Wellll... no, I guess not... [He dwells on it with consideration for another second before shaking his head.] But a sword fight I can definitely do!

But, uh, where in the swamp are you thinking? There's a bunch of robots in there and fighting in the water would be kinda tough if you're not used to it. [Granted, Sora's not used to it, either-- he's used to fighting underwater, certainly, but not wading in a swamp.]

Wait a second- robots? Seriously?

[Holy heck.]

What kind of robots are they? Are they strong?

Oh, they're like... uh... [he closes his fingers together a few times, mimicking claws of some sort. Snip snip. Like a crab. Or a scorpion, in this case.]

You know the bugs with the tails? They're like those, but big. I don't actually know what they're there for but they have weapons on their tails so they must be pretty strong, I guess...

[A hooded figure stared at the small screen before her for a very long moment. What in the.....]

"Roxas....?" [She didn't realize that the connection was two way....]

Yep! That's my name. Roxas, the one and only.

[Okay, there's something weird about this girl in the cloak. That voice feels way too familiar, like the girl from his dreams in Twilight Town.

It'd probably be rude to point that out though, so...]

What can I do for you? You also interested in duking it out in the swamp?

"Wh.... what... no! Roxas... what happened to you...?"

[Thank god she has brain cells. Unlike Sora.]

What do you mean? Nothing happened to me. [Wait-- That's a lie.] Well, nothing aside from being brought to this weird world.

Do you know me from somewhere?

"..............."

[...................]

"Roxas... where is Axel?"

[Axel could fix this. Would fix this. Somehow.]

Axel...? With the spiky red hair?

[The same Axel who attacked him at the tournament and claimed to know him?]

Are you one of his friends?

".................."

[Yes. Sort of. It's complicated.]

"YOU are his friend, Roxas. And whatever they did to you... Axel can help. RTC and find Axel. Please," [she begged.]

"I... I can't help you, not any more." [Not that she ever could. Not like he helped her.] "But Axel can. He made a promise, and he can keep it with you."

[Logically he should have expected this the moment she mentioned his name, but he's still completely taken aback by her statement.]

I don't think friends threaten to kidnap friends! And what the heck is an RTC? [Ooohhh, this is so weird for him. And awkward.]

[A small sigh.] "That's... That's just Axel...." [Because really. It was.] "I know you've gotten mad at him before, Roxas, for lying to us... but you know why he does it, even if you won't admit it. Let him take you home, while you still have one, Roxas. Please. Don't waste what little time you have left."

I already have a home though.... [Muttered under his breath.]

You know, I really don't think it's a good idea for us to be having this conversation on the, uh, public network. [Sorry to all the theoretical people on the network watching for the sweet Kingdom Hearts drama unfold here.] Do you think we could continue this whole thing... face to face? [Because maybe if they do, he can tell for sure if this is that girl - Kairi, was it? - from his dreams or not.]

[She shook her head.] "It's dangerous enough talking to you at all, Roxas..." [she said, pain in her voice. And oh if she knew he was thinking she was Kairi.... just... ouch.]

[If Xion knew how to lock this conversation, she would have.]

"It is good that you forgot me, but clearly the spell went wrong. You weren't supposed to forget Axel too. Please, Roxas. Go, talk to him. Trust Axel. He'll help you until it is your turn to rejoin us as well."

Dangerous? Why is it dangerous? [That's such an ominous thing to say.]

And a spell? What are you talking about? [This is the first he's heard of that. Not even Axel mentioned something like that during their first encounter in Twilight Town.] Even if I did want to find and talk to Axel again, he's nowhere to be found in this world currently. How can I go and talk to someone who's not here?

All I have is you!

[Wow, if she had a heart, she was sure those words would have finished the job he started when he struck her down. As it was, they hurt. She shook her head.]

"You don't have me, Roxas, you can't; not anymore." [She had no clue how that could come across, of course.] "But Axel will find you. HE always will. Just... promise me you will go with him, and listen to him. Please."

Why do you keep saying stuff like that? The way you say that makes it sound like you don't even exist

[He has this gut feeling that she's afraid of something. He doesn't know what or why, though.]

I can't promise you anything for certain. [A pause.] But... I will try to keep an open mind if I see him again. Okay?

"Because I don't. OR I shouldn't but... thank you, Roxas. Talk to Axel. Have ice cream with him and listen. You'll understand then."

[A breath.]

"And Roxas... take care of yourself alright?"

[In other words, 'goodbye, Roxas'.]

[Hey? Hey, no? No???

He's not just going to let her go like that, so before Xion can hang up, he slams his hands on his desk and speaks up quickly.]

Hang on!

"I shouldn't exist" isn't something anyone should say ever say about themselves! Tell me where you are right now.

[Because he wants to make sure this girl is safe.]

"Thank you, Roxas, but no. I am glad I got to talk to you though, one last time..."
