Oh! Hmm... Well, that’s good. I guess that means they won’t try and fight the Fire Lord without me.

What’s Hyrule like? Are there benders there or is that not something people can do?

Yeah, it makes it easier to relax here. At least, I think it so.

[Big smile. Link could talk forever about Hyrule, Katara.]

It's beautiful. We have forests, open fields, mountains, rivers, lakes. And we have all kinds of people, Hylians, Zora, Gorons, Kokiri, Sheikah, Gerudo....

All the races have talents and stuff. They say Hylians, uh...like me..., have more magical ability than some races. And that we're supposed to be able to hear the gods, with our ears and all.

Zora are water people. They can breathe underwater, and they look a little fish-like.

Gorons are a really strong people. They live on Death Mountain and eat rocks. They're...kinda rock-like too.

Kokiri are fairy children of the forest. They stay kids forever and have fairy partners.

[Katara smiles gently as Link describes Hyrule to her. It certainly sounds more magical than most of the places she's ever been, possibly barring the spirit oasis at the North Pole.]

It sounds like my world in some ways. We've got all the forests, fields, mountains, and things like that. I come from the South Pole. It's all ice and snow, as far as you can see! But there aren't any other people like what you're talking about--just different nations of humans like me.

[She looks at Link's ears curiously, wondering if all his people look like that.]

What kind of magic do you have? You can talk to spirits? I have a friend who can talk to spirits, too.
