Hi! - Going with B
The loud banging on the door bought back those old familiar feelings, Sarah or Jo at the door, begging to be let in. Of course the voice was a much less familiar one but he still came round and opened it. Leaning on the frame he popped his head out to see who it was.
"Dead? That rather depends on your interpretation."

"In a matter of speaking. I think it would be more precise to say the Doctor is in here."
And he pointed to himself.
"But some how I doubt I'm the version of me you are looking for. Which one is it then? The beanpole or the one with the leather jacket?"

He nodded and stepped away, heading back to the console but leaving the door wide open for the lady to follow. A few switches and dials were flipped to bring up the lights as it was dark enough to trip over a step in here!
"The TARDIS looks different than you recall? She used to have a bright white interior when she was under my care. With large circular cutouts on the walls."

"What I am trying to tell you is like this TARDIS, Time Lords can change a great deal as well. When ever one body runs out, we... regenerate into a new one. Now if I had to guess..."
From her outfit, TARDIS familiarity, and clothing which looked much more modern than the 70's fashions back on Earth he was familiar with.
"I won't meet you for quite a while yet. Would you care to cheat a little and tell me your name?"

Though he did try not to sigh at the mention of Time Lords. They were meddlesome in his time but seemed to have only grown worse as the Time War panic had set in, if the stories his older selves told were to be believed.
"But, in the great scheme of things I would be your Doctor's Third self."
And he would deny being anything like the Master.

As far as he knows. That was a good theory though, he was impressed. Oftentimes such things had to be spelled out very carefully to his friends but this Bill was right on top of it with a theory. It wasn't correct but it was still a good one.
And she did have a lovely smile, one he felt he had to match with a smile of his own.
"I'm afraid I've never met anyone named Nardole either. You see, I'm rather out of time here in Nautilus. That future version of me you met won't recall this at all. It really must have been your smile."

Alright. This was kind of fun. She could handle this.
Bill is delightful! I think you have nailed her voice!
His smile faded into a petulant pout as he slid off the the console to fuss around with it again in a few fluidly testy motions.
"I should hope not. He must be centuries my senior!"
Struck a vain nerve with that one, his friends often did, they were difficult to avoid but the ire died down just as quickly as it had flared up.
"Anyway he would have to come some time after my tenth self. I've met or at least heard about all the others."
A beat.
"Have you ever been to a nexus world before?"
Omg, thank you so much. I am so nervous with her.
You don't have to be, she's adorable!
Three, as he was often known as here in Nautilus, shrugged as he watched the little lights on the console controls flash on and then alter at his commend. Totally just switched the hot and cold water to give Ten a shocking shower later.
"It isn't exactly a subject I care to talk about. I only brought it up as you were worried about this other me."
He watched Bill, before deciding that would never satisfy her curiosity at all. It certainly wouldn't his. Now that his Regeneration was over, he had 'lived' through it so to speak, maybe he could say a little more.
"It is a complete change of self. Oh, the core bits stay largely the same but the rest; hair, eyes, height... you can end up older or younger..."
Male or female, though he didn't know about that 'him' yet either.
"Bits of your personalty even. It's very unnerving. I'm not surprised my older self never told you about it. That and... I do seem to have more difficulty dealing with people as I get older. Senility perhaps. That is our prevailing theory."
The humorous one. The Time War being the far more likely root of his issues.
Awww, thank you. Wanted to try her out before letting on who I am, get a feel for if people like her
"Yeah, sorry, not exactly reading as senile to me. Either of you. Grumpy, sure. Arrogant, well a little," she said with an impish grin. "But senile? Never. So.. the Master and Missy go through the same thing then? That's how he became her and all that?"
That's very sneaky. :P
"The Master?" A nod, oh he knew the Master, "I'm terribly sorry you had to run into him, or her I suppose. What was he doing this time, trying to take over the universe or just destroy me?"
More like that is anxiety and I'm half convinced you are all going to hate me for this.
I can't imagine why
Well... there was that one time against the Axons but letting the Master into the TARDIS and pretending to join him had been the only way to save the Earth. Sort of joining a demon to destroy the devil in that case.
That was a tell. Bill rubbing her hand over her chest. Concerned he stepped around the console and lightly touched her arm.
"Are you quite alright, my dear?"
Hiding it from you, not coming out and just asking for help testing.
Nah, I've done it. It can be a nice way to test things out.
"Unfortunately there is something else that comes with age... a complete lack of sound judgement.
The Master will never change. He or she, enjoys what they do too much. A pity I forget that."
I've done it before too. Always feel guilty.
No need to.
The Doctor paused and set a finger to his lips as he looked at her. She looked all in one piece now but she would in Nautilus, especially if she had died from her injuries. These sorts of things did heel themselves once one arrived in this world.
"I'm sorry, I'm afraid I haven't a clue what you are talking about. You aren't still injured now are you?"
Thank you.
