I really like the way Rion and Alex both get along with Rip. I'm planning on throwing Rion at the Captain so they can actually "talk" in a weird psychic way, so not sure how that'd affect Rip. And there might be some thing going on with the Major I guess. He could really use some info on the Major since he creepered on Rion some awhile back.

...also, just putting this out here for a potential possibility, but given Alexander's current state he might try to get Rip to kill him while he's struggling towards the last stages of his illness. Especially since Rip is like, oddly one of the few people he sort of relates to in this city. This won't happen for quite a few months, though.

Ayye, if Rip wasn't concerned with Rion on any personal level of friendship, she's definitely going to become concerned if the Major starts entertaining the idea of recruiting Rion as a weapon. Likely she'll try to intervene on behalf of the kid, with force if necessary.

Likely all Alex'd have to do is ask her; Rip was briefly suicidal thanks to the workings of the city before, and kind of empathizes with wanting to die and being unable to. She'd probably do it if she could find a way to give the guy some peace.
