Good question. Let's see...it's more my life's chosen work than anything else, I'd say. Watching over all of humankind. All their triumphs and atrocities, over the span of four hundred years? It would be enough to steady the flightiest soul.

it's not.

yes and no. while i wasn't born blind, i don't remember what it was like to see with my eyes. So, i consider it a yes.

Ah, I see. I imagine it would be harder for those who knew what it was like to see to get used to it. Goodness knows, if I lost my sight now, it would be rather upsetting.
