Although while you are dispensing gratitude, you ought to do the same for Warrant Officer Schrodinger. He gave his life to slay the monster, after all.

Yes, of course. But the annihilation of a country and an organization, however grand and incredible, pales before the accomplishment of a deed that was supposed to be impossible! To kill that which was supposed to be unkillable- that shall forever be my crowning glory, the highest honor of our unit!

I zuppose zhat is true. But zhen zer honor vould go to you, und to Dok, not to Schrodinger. You und zer Doktor created him for zhat singular purpose, und if he did not serve zhat purpose, I zuppose you vould have incinerated him und ztarted anew.

No, no, of course not! It would have been terribly disappointing, of course, but the Warrant Officer is far too useful and unique to be disposed of so offhandedly. There would of course have been consequences for his failure, but we would have worked something out.
