THURSDAY MEME FUN

Hi hi~

Since I'm done with finals and I'm bored, I'm going to start a tradition (and by start I mean blatantly steal from another RP) that I really like! It's a fun way to spice up your weekend when activity is a little slow, or perhaps you want to kick your character(s) into doing something. FROM NOW ON!

Thursdays are Weekly Meme Days. "Why Thursday?" you ask. Well, from what I've observed, Thursdays are incredibly slow nights. IDK why.

SO. To kick of our weekly memery, we're going to start with an oldie but a goodie. (and again I demonstrate my prowess at stealing from others, but come on, this graphic is awesome.)

FOURTH-WALL MEME

Here's how it works. THERE IS NO FOURTH WALL HERE. Meta characters, muns interacting with characters, cracky references to fandom, or not! Anything goes.

But I'm far more important. Why don't I have an action figure?

Or, wait - look! I do! (http://www.dcgiftshop.com/items/President_Thomas_Jefferson_Action_Figure.html)

Thank you!

You're a cartoon character. I'm a Founding Father.

Think about how many kids today know about transforming robots as opposed to U.S. History.

Think about this!

Perhaps you should consider how many children know you specifically as opposed to those who are familiar with the name 'Thomas Jefferson'.

Wow, you're worth forty bucks!

Forty dollars?

That rather seems as though the toy companies are intent to scam consumers out of their fortunes. But what can one expect from businessmen?

That is the most disgraceful misnomer I've yet to see in my life. That or the modern definition of "action" has disgracefully low standards.

Now, I would imagine with some with far more wartime experience, and a far more attractive visage, would constitute a far better figurine.

So you wish to be a small plastic toy dismantled by toddlers.

You, I think, are just jealous of my superior fame and adoration.

If by doing so they may learn something of the civic virtues of military service, then yes, a bit of slobber would be a mild inconvenience.

And do not demean me to think I should ever envy those who would hold you in esteem, nor you for receiving their acclaim.
