So as some of you know, part of the reason I've been sort of MIA lately here and on AIM is because I've been trying to do a lot more sketching. ~~Part of it also the fault of War for Cybertron, but we'll ignore that for now!~~ Sometimes it's easier for me to crank stuff out if I can get an idea and stick with it, though, and lately I've been running into the issue of ADD-like behavior when faced with a blank screen/blank sheet of paper. "This paper is really blank and--OH LOOKIT THAT SHINY THING OVER THERE. MY PHONE PINGED, I GOT EMAIL! THE GUINEA PIGS ARE SQUEAKING AT ME. AND--what was I doing again?"

So.

First three people to respond to this post with a link to some decent references get a character sketch. Portrait or waist up, somewhere along the lines of the Pandora images I did recently. Something I can churn out in 30 minutes or less. Preferably this would be a character you role play here or somewhere else. Canon, OC, fandom OC, etc. Or hell if you really just want a sketch of your favorite character ever from your favorite anime ever or...something. JUST NOTHING TOO HIDEOUS. I know that kind of ruins the fun, but I'm trying to get my art mojo back, not suffer brain breakage in the process. XD

So if I asked you want you would have wanted, now's a GREAT TIME TO ANSWER. XD Just gonna do one character per person, okie? Okie.

Sleep is overrated. Until you actually GO to sleep. Then you never want to get up. At least that's how it is for me, anyway. x_x

LOL. It's like that for me sometimes. Sleeping in is just so nice!

And I'd really love something of some Cybertronian Lelouch, but that might be too big of a pain in the booty? Or something of Edgeworth walking Pesu would be awesome, because there is no official art on that.

I'm...pretty sure I can do better than this. But it's a start. This is something that really needs to be drawn on a larger sheet so there's room for design exploration.

Anyway.

THAT IS AMAZING! ♥ That is seriously the coolest thing ever. I could never have imagined how to make them fit together so smoothly, and you just did that so perfectly. /dissolves into a pile of babbling happy goo

And looking at the other art, I gotta ask, why are you so awesome? Just glorious, glorious stuff, all the way around! I especially love the expression on Wheeljack's face and how tough Alex looks.

I seriously tried to get aspects of both the Shinkiro and the Zero helmet in there...especially in the helm and faceplate. Also the cape. Because it's Lelouch. He needs his damn cape. XD

He actually doesn't yet have an alt mode, does he? I was trying to remember if he did while I was working on that...

I totally can see the both of them! It's brilliant!

And Starscream helped him get his alt mode a little while ago, but he hasn't actually used it for much. He's been practicing the transition mostly.

Yes, some sort of a jet. LOL... Starscream let him borrow his collection of jet ~~porn~~ to make his choice. I am clueless about what would look good/make sense, so it's just vague right now. XD

Eh, I may look around and try to compare some aircraft at some point. Personally, I'm fond of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter and the F/A-18 Hornet. If you've ever seen the Blue Angels fly, those are Hornets. There are a few jets that evolved from the Hornet that are pretty cool and more recent, too. Naturally, the F-22 Raptor is also made of awesome...
