THE PARTY ANIMAL MEME

How it works:
Attendees of parties:
1. Post with your character with name and canon in the comment title. Wait for people to reply back to you with a party type.

Hosts:
1. Get a number from the RNG. 1-6. Or dude, whatever. Just pick a party if you want.
2. Check the list and see what kind of party your character is hosting.
3. Respond to a character with the number in the comment title and an intro then start partying.
4. Shenanigans. BS stuff. Get creative. You all know what happens at parties.
5. GO AHEAD AND THREADJACK. Parties with only two people are lame and we all know it.

Party Types:

1. Pool Party - Somehow you managed to get the public pool reserved all to yourself, or you own your own pool! Either way, music is playing outside on this bright sunny day and you're pretty certain it'll be a hit. Remember to wait 30 minutes after you eat before going in the water!

2. Slumber Party - One of those girls only parties where you paint your nails and watch chick flicks-- wait-- is that a guy over there? How did he get invited!? Or perhaps it's purposely mixed for all that wonderful and delicious awkwardness.

3. Tea Party - It's pretty self explanatory. How boring and dull-- it's just waiting for somebody to spike the tea to get things really kickin'.

4. Beach Party - The best kind of parties, right? Barbeque smell is in the air, the sand is warm, people are playing volleyball. Beach parties are simple, but have so much shenanigan potential.

5. Wild Party - Break out the booze and whatever else naughty. This party is happenin' all night at your place because sleep is for weenies. Just don't let the cops know what you're doing.

6. Rave/Dance Party - Yeahhh! You're rocking this party with a DJ. The lights are off and people are going nuts! Is the music too loud? I don't think so. Go ask that little lady over there for a dance!

Heh? Teddie-san wears make-up...?

[Orihime's never seen Teddie without the bear suit. So naturally, this paints a very strange image in her head. Her stuff falls to the floor. Well, at least it got put down.]

--Oh, er, ha ha! I guess that's part of it! So do we all wear our pajamas right now? Or does that come later?

...sometimes.

I think it's a little early for pajamas, but whenever you feel like changing, this place has bathrooms with locks, so those should work for that.

[Politely moving her stuff to the side.]

Okay! If I change now, then no one will have to wait! Be right back!

[She digs into her backpack for a pair of flannel pajamas and dashes away, grinning over her shoulder. A few minutes later, she pads out and shuts off the light, sliding the door shut behind her. She emerges from the hallway in the best pajamas in the whole world, her clothes bundled up and hugged in her arms.]

Yosh! Now I'm ready to spin bottles and call telephones and tell ghost stories!

> Too...adorable. Can't...say...anything...

[That's okay, she'll help you.]

Come on! Let's go get our make-up done too!

[His arm is latched onto as she cheerfully leads the way.]

[But she plans to do ALL THE FUN THINGS, Souji-san! And making you do them, too! She's even able to make some pretty good cookies in the kitchen filled with chopped cherries, chocolate, nuts, and frosted on top with fudge icing to be served during the movie. Which is a horror movie. Which means she sits there hugging or knees or buried in the popcorn bowl with a continual 8| face.]

[Later, after washing his face thoroughly...]

[...he somehow decides his night will improve if he continues hanging out with Orihime. Probably has something to do with the 'too adorable' thing. He sits next to her, arm out far enough she can grip onto it if she needs too.]

[Her eyes get bigger and bigger as the scares pile up. But it isn't until the comedy relief character is brutally butchered that she finally takes the silent invitation, clinging to his arm and burying her face against it. Nooooo that guy was her favorite!]

[A hug is kinda awkward from this position, but she seems to need it. The movie's not interesting enough to keep his attention anyway, so he turns to the side to put his other arm around her shoulders.]

[The sympathy is both comforting and warm, albeit surprising. Her shoulders hunch a little in embarrassment. How is it she can stand against Hollows and zombies and monsters without a twinge of fear, but be such a wuss when it comes to a horror movie?]

[After a moment of silence, her stiffened shoulders start to relax, as does her death grip on his arm. She whispers her gratitude, breath warming the spot of his shirt where her face is hidden.]

Arigatou, Souji-san.

[Souji nods big enough that she can feel it. Not that he's a loud talker, but there are other people watching the movie. Or...well, mostly asleep by now. It really wasn't that good of a film.]

[Orihime finds that she 'enjoys' the movie a lot more when she can't see it. And admittedly, it's kind of sort of really nice like this. It makes her heart feel warm with gratitude and affection. And so it's with mixed relief and reluctance that she slowly sits up and lets him go when the end credits begin to roll. Seeing how most people have already passed out in their sleeping bags, it seems they should probably do the same. So she gets up, pardoning herself to brush her teeth and wash her face, before wandering out to claim her sleeping bag.]

[Except it's not there.]

[Her brow starts to wrinkle with worry as she creeps around as quietly as she can, but she really can't find it. Wasn't it right there by her backpack and bear? Did someone mistake hers for theirs?]

Souji-san! Have you seen...?

Nope.

I don't see it anywhere.

[She starts to look a little distressed. It was brand new! And reversible! That made it twice as comfortable! She hugs her poor butchered bear as if she were afraid it was going to disappear too as she stalks over the pile of belongings to search in vain for the missing bedroll.]

Hey. Don't worry about it. I've got a bed in my room, you can use that. I'll find something for myself.

R-really? Thank you!

[SO RELIEVED! She would have failed the slumber party otherwise!]

Anou...which room is...?

It's this way. I'll let you in.

[Locking his door was the only way to keep people OFF his bed during this party. Thank god he lives in a western-style house in this town.]

[She tip-taps after him, hugging her bear against her chest while looking flustered and relieved. She probably shouldn't be in a guy's room, but...well, it's probably okay in this instance.]

[Souji's room is small, and the decorations are mainly random junk, but hey, a gyroscope!]

[Also, just the one bed. He hasn't Bent himself a couch to read on yet.]

The door'll lock from the inside so you can have some privacy...sorry it's such a guy room, though.

[A gyroscope! So cool! AND A GAG BOOK! Souji, she likes your style.]

It's okay! It's very tidy. I like it!

[She looks at the futon, which appears very cozy.]

You have a sleeping bag, then?

Well, I'm sure there's something around...

...Souji-san...

You're a guest. You get the bed. Hell, I might just stay up, I've managed it before.

[Orihime's mind races, guilt battling with modesty. Guilt wins! TKO!]

Then...then stay here! It's big enough that we can share! Because if you don't sleep then I don't sleep, I'll have nightmares! REALLY BAD ONES!
