Rey | Star Wars: The Force Awakens
"I am awake!" she spoke, frustrated, to the invisible voice she had heard...in her head? Surely it must have been. There was no one around her.
"Whoever you are, I need to go back. I was meeting someone important!" her voice rose and then broke. She forced herself to steady; to breathe; to count to ten and then backwards again.
Be calm. The answers she sought were around her. Silent, waiting... But present.
Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii <3
On one of his patrols, Kylo Ren made his way toward the girl whose presence he had suddenly felt. No, surely it was a mistake. There had been very few from his own time here and part of him was reluctant to face any of them now.
But face her, if she was really here, was what he must do.
He looked much the same as last she saw him, although missing any visible scars. He was without his mask but dressed in his usual black robes. His expression bore a slight frown as if of disapproval as he sensed her very close now...
Hiiii <33333
Their last confrontation was embedded in her mind, reinforcing that she must follow the path that would make her stronger in the Force. Someone like him needed to be stopped; him and the rest of the First Order.
"What do you want?" she made herself look at him - to see his appearance and the changes. Her brow knitted in confusion. "You heal fast."

On the other hand, his power had been fully restored and building from months of training, both on his own and with tips from some of the Jedi that were here.
Of course, she was not to know about any of that at first glance and he didn't yet inform her.
"It may be that our moments in time have not been aligned. The last time I saw you was...," he thought for a moment, calculating. "... maybe eight or so months ago.
"As for what I want. I had... felt your arrival and wanted to see if it was true." He regarded her with a measured look up and down. "It seems that my instincts were not wrong."
Plus he had lessened the scar's appearance when he'd practiced healing by Bending on himself. It was now very faint and you'd have to be very close to see it.
no subject
"That long...?" she was shocked, "What has happened in that time? For you?" it was a broad question - eight months was a long time - but she wondered what hell he had wrought.
To her, he was a nearly unstoppable force.
"I'm here." Rey lifted her chin, fighting back a flinch, "Why are you able to sense me?"
Why am I able to sense you?

Even though he didn't try to see into her thoughts he could tell she was confused, which wasn't surprising. Everyone was confused when they arrived, for the most part. It was a jarring and unexpected transition and took some getting used to. In some ways he still wasn't used to being in Nautilus himself.
"The Force," he answered simply. "I expect that you cannot currently feel it but it will come back to you in time.... If you let it."
His eyes were fixed intently on her but he hadn't come any closer, giving her her space.
no subject
"If I let it...? What does that mean?" she wanted it back. She felt wrong this way. "Why aren't you attacking?"
no subject
"Why should I attack you?" He did take one careful step forward now. "I told you before that I want to teach you. The potential you have... It can be harnessed and you could do so much. However... Here you will have to begin again. Even the little you picked up before is gone."
Or at least he assumes she'd be like every other person who came through. Powerless at first.
"I can help you. You can learn so much more here, even more than the Force. There are powers here that are... immeasurable."
He paused, watching her. "But first you will need to trust me."
He knew, even as he said it aloud, that that would be a difficult request. So far, though, he seemed to be surprisingly calm.
no subject
Fortunately for Kylo Ren, she was not a towering Wookiee with a diabolical temper. But she did have a temper and he had pushed her too far too many times.
"For the same reason you attacked me before. Because I wouldn't agree with you, right? Because I opposed you." she felt the insane urge to laugh and cry as he repeated his offer, "So I can be like you? You think you hide it, but you don't."
He was in pain; in agony and she would have felt bad for him if he hadn't hurt her friends and his family. Han Solo and General Leia did not deserve what he had done!
"He came to take you home, didn't he? And you impaled him. You are a monster."
no subject
He didn't want to let the weakness of how her words affected him to show - but show they did. In the way he looked downward; lips pursed slightly and the twitch of his eyes. It was a grimace, although it may not be clear whether it was from guilt or just annoyance at her having brought up the subject of Han. It took him a moment to compose himself and, with a deep breath in and out, he looked up toward her again.
Slowly, he spoke.
"You cannot understand. This... is not relevant here and now. You have bigger problems than what happened between us back on the base."
Even with these words, he was avoiding speaking directly about the other issues and other people involved and it was clear that he was suddenly very uncomfortable.
no subject
"It's relevant to me." she spoke softly, giving her head a slight shake, "You know how I felt about him."
Han had been like a father to her, though they had only known one another briefly. They had shared a connection and this man standing before her had severed that without a thought.
"Don't worry so much about me." the words were laughable and she sighed, "Are any of your First Order friends here?"

Hello there 8D
As his robed figure approached, he could hear her calling out. The wind catching the hem of his cloak as tousling it as Obi-Wan paused a few feet away. Merely observing the girl for a moment before finally speaking up.
"And who would be so important?"
He asked this in a calm voice, knowing how confused she felt. Perhaps he had the answers she was looking for?
Hi hi hi <3
She should have been frightened when she saw him, but she wasn't. He intrigued her to such a degree that she lowered the lightsaber to her side, not wanting to spook or anger him.
"Skywalker. Luke Skywalker." Rey frowned a little at how she wanted to tell him the truth, "The last Jedi."
no subject
"The last... oh, of course."
Sounding if he had nearly forgotten something, only to be swiftly reminded. A sad smile then gracing his bearded face.
"It seems you've come to the right place."
no subject
"Is he here?" she felt her heart race, "Who are you?"
But that was probably rude. Rey licked her lips and added: "I'm Rey."
no subject
"My name is Obi-Wan Kenobi," he says with a polite bow of his head and a smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Rey."
no subject
"The...Obi-Wan Kenobi?" well there was only one, "N-No, the... The pleasure is mine! I had no idea it was your voice..."
She pressed her lips together, holding out the lightsaber again.
"You recognize this, don't you?"
no subject
A short pause, "Hallo. I'm The Doctor."
no subject
no subject
"For me that's my name. Alright? Alright! Welcome to the multiverse, Rey!"
no subject
Multiverse? Either this man was crazy or he knew exactly what was going on.
"Alright. How long have you been in this world, Doctor?"
no subject
For everything that doesn't happen in your universe, happens in another and all of those other choices that happen elsewhere happen in a parallel world in another universe.
Your universe is a snowglobe and the multiverse is a bigger snowglobe with your universe within that snowglobe and so forth.
I've been in this world four months exactly."
no subject
But she knew when push came to shove, crazy things could happen.

He was no longer dressed in his First Order uniform and simply wore a simple civilian outfit. He stopped when he was a few feet from her, his hands clasped behind his back and no weapon in sight.
no subject
"You don't even know who I am looking for, do you?"
