kururugi shrine !!

[ The shrine is never a place Sora's really paid much mind- nothing against it or anything, it's just sort of out of the way for him. He tends to only spare it a brief look whenever he does happen to pass it by, and this time is no exception, but-

-but he doesn't immediately recognize the back of the guy standing outside of it this time around. He doesn't know anyone in Nautilus with that hair color- except for the Doctor but that's because he's super old and whoever this is doesn't look old at all because they actually looks a lot like... like Riku, but that can't be the case because Riku isn't here (regardless of how firmly he believes that he'll show up eventually because, come on, if anyone could find their way to a place like Nautilus it would be him).

Stopped entirely mid-stride, he feels like he does at least five double-takes before deciding that if it's another trick of a storm, it's a super realistic one, and he doesn't care if Nautilus ends up laughing at him for it- he's erring on the side of optimism. The quiet serenity of the shrine is completely lost on him as he cups his hands around his mouth to shout, already completely prepared to break out into a sprint. ]

...Riku? Is that you?!
