Toriel had never seen a small creature quite like it. It was adorable. She smiled and held her hand up peacefully, only to be interrupted by a rather shocked adult human.

She placed her paws on the ground. "Please do not be alarmed. I will not hurt you."

The small pokemon flew to Kaylin's shoulder as the woman gave a rude snort. "Pretty *** sure you couldn't if you wanted to." The Flygon bit Kaylin's ear. Painfully. And she swore at it in the guttural not-made-for-human-throats language that was Leontine. The swearing was happily translated by the series and amounted to threatening to drown the thing in her own blood if it kept making her bleed so much.

Given that it was utterly unconcerned and simply moved to the top of her head to chew on her hair, it seemed as it the threats were more habit than actual intent to harm.

What a sweet creature. It almost reminded her of something in the distant past...

"Very well, then. I only wish to be on my way."

And after a moment of thought:

"Is your friend hungry?"

The growl from Kaylin's stomach mad it clear which of them was hungry, so the now smirking pokemon nodded.

Kaylin scowled at the world in general since scowling at her stomach would make her look even more foolish than usual.

"Oh dear. Normally, I would be happy to offer you both some food, but I did not bring anything with me. I would, however, accompany you to the nearest location if you know of one."

"There is the welcome house and the Taskforce," she shrugged a bit. "Task Force is a bit closer, but not many people whp don't serve want to go that way."
