Re: (Audio)(locked)
"Yeah, hate to break it to you, buddy, but this isn't Paris."
Re: (Audio)(locked)
I am also well aware this is the city of Nautilus, and that it seems intent on "collecting" people.
[There was a downright dangerous edge to those last two words. The edge vanishes in the next few words.]
I could not help but notice in my research, that there is a section of this city based on Paris. While, yes, I am a man who is fully able to realize and understand he is not in the city he has spent the last several decades---I am also able to recognize the inspiration. And upon reading on the blasted thing, discovered that tower has come to represent our beautiful city.
That is nothing short of criminal. My Opera would be a far, far, better icon. Or, perhaps, Notre-Dame herself.

Re: (Audio)(locked)
I must confess, Monsieur, you are fulfilling my every expectation as to how this city would treat a newcomer. Thank you for confirming my suspicions that this place is indeed no different than any of the others I have visited.
If you have nothing further to contribute aside from the mockery of a new citizen, I will bid you adieu, Monsieur.
Re: (Audio)(locked)
[Yeah, not going to argue the bit about making fun of him, because he was really making it too easy.]
[Besides, someone couldn't get akumatized over something like that. Right? Right? Awww whiskers and claws, he should probably go get Adrien to talk to this guy....]
Re: (Audio)(locked)
[You really don't want anyone you care about talking to Erik.]
It would be quite the shame if you found yourself unable to taunt strangers.
Re: (Audio)(locked)
"Nah, even if an akuma took my voice or a storm did, I'd always be able to have some fun."
Re: (Audio)(locked)
[Did he have to draw the man a picture?]

Re: (Audio)(locked)
Your name is Nino?

Re: (Audio)(locked)
You are wrong in that assessment.
I won't bore you with the many ways one could decimate an entire population in order to kill a single man, but, there are many.
Re: (Audio)(locked)
Re: (Audio)(locked)
As you said, it's only a week.
Re: (Audio)(locked)
Re: (Audio)(locked)
Allow me to make a guess:
They would call me a monster. A murderer. And then they would try to hunt me down for justice--or, perhaps simply shun me. [He's noticed the city is not well united even in coming together when there are criminals. He has sincere doubts that they'd unite against him with any sort of cohesion.]
All of that is exceedingly difficult, if not impossible when they do not know who I am.
[Erik paused.]
I am not certain why you would think a grudge would sway me one way or the other unless I were the one holding it.
Re: (Audio)(locked)
[He would point out that since this guy didn't anon he could be traced, but as Gar forgot to do the same, he wasn't going to point that out to the newbie. He had something better, anyway.]
"I think at this point in the conversation I need to give you a bit of news you're going to hate."
Re: (Audio)(locked)
You have a twin.
