I must confess, I find your city's so-called "Paris" district to be an atrocity. A Paris without her Palais Garnier, is an insult to all of France, let alone Paris.
That garish tower needs to go, now.

Re: (Audio)(anon.)(locked)
or did it?]Do you often befriend voices, Monsieur? Careful, that leads to madness.
Or perhaps, madness has already lead you to it.
[A very matter-of-fact tone this time, as the voice continues, rather blandly. Someone is wholly unimpressed with talks of ladybirds or other insects, heroic or otherwise.]
I built it once. I will build it again. It is my Opera, after all.

Re: (Audio)(anon.)(locked)
A fan of the arts? I am surprised you have not taken measures to create something yourself, Monsieur. Building an Opera or a museum an academy dedicated to the arts...
Ah, but, I would guess you are something of an aristo. You would likely rather hand money over to someone else.
A pity that skill of the titled class is wholly useless here.
[Mm. Yes. He is calling you rich and useless.]
Re: (Audio)(anon.)(locked)
[Tag. Sucker.]
Re: (Audio)(anon.)(locked)
Many owe their very lives to my charitable nature. The managers at the Opera pay me a salary to thank me for my generosity.
[Blackmail is a wonderful thing.]
Of course, here, it would seem that all one would have is talent. I imagine those with limited creativity are at the mercy of those more gifted.

"Yeah, hate to break it to you, buddy, but this isn't Paris."
Re: (Audio)(locked)
I am also well aware this is the city of Nautilus, and that it seems intent on "collecting" people.
[There was a downright dangerous edge to those last two words. The edge vanishes in the next few words.]
I could not help but notice in my research, that there is a section of this city based on Paris. While, yes, I am a man who is fully able to realize and understand he is not in the city he has spent the last several decades---I am also able to recognize the inspiration. And upon reading on the blasted thing, discovered that tower has come to represent our beautiful city.
That is nothing short of criminal. My Opera would be a far, far, better icon. Or, perhaps, Notre-Dame herself.
Re: (Audio)(locked)
Re: (Audio)(locked)
I must confess, Monsieur, you are fulfilling my every expectation as to how this city would treat a newcomer. Thank you for confirming my suspicions that this place is indeed no different than any of the others I have visited.
If you have nothing further to contribute aside from the mockery of a new citizen, I will bid you adieu, Monsieur.
Re: (Audio)(locked)
[Yeah, not going to argue the bit about making fun of him, because he was really making it too easy.]
[Besides, someone couldn't get akumatized over something like that. Right? Right? Awww whiskers and claws, he should probably go get Adrien to talk to this guy....]
Re: (Audio)(locked)
[You really don't want anyone you care about talking to Erik.]
It would be quite the shame if you found yourself unable to taunt strangers.

But there are few ways to force Nautilus to comply when it does not wish to do so. Perhaps you might have more luck requesting something else instead.
Re: (Audio)
Ah. I am quite familiar with making requests. I thank you, Mademoiselle.
The tower itself could be improved with some slight architectural talent, I suppose. The sense are easily deceived, after all.
Re: (Audio)
[She does try not to insult people on the first conversation.
Ganondorf doesn't count.]Perhaps you might take it up as a project, then. There are certainly others who have acted to make improvements to the city before this.
Re: (Audio)
I can see that this city needs many.
[After the Opera and fixing that tower...gardens perhaps?]
Re: (Audio)
Perhaps. But living things are hard to tame and this city in particular is, by it's very nature, wild.
(Audio)
New here, I take it?
Re: (Audio)
[A small pause. Another lady, so, a more measured and mannerly response.]
I did some observing and research once I arrived. I suppose it is accurate to call me a newcomer, although, I have waited before addressing the citizenship at large.
