PROMPTS
Prompt A: Chinese New Year Storm - It's the Year of the Rat and the city is celebrating the holiday. Many different activities and food for everyone. You can even adopt a pet mouse if you want. Children can get red envelopes filled with a small amount of whatever currency their world uses. Have fun!
Prompt B: Cupid War Storm - A war has broken out between cupids and dark cupids, fighting to either spread love (Cupids) or hatred (Dark Cupids). The cupids are the ones with white wings and love arrows, while the Dark Cupids are the ones with black wings and dark rose-ended arrows. Is your character one of the cupids or is the poor person stuck in the crossfire of the war?
Prompt C: Wildcard - Is your character trying to learn bending? Posting on the network about something on their mind? Or is your character just first Awakening? Either way, have a go at it.
Ax Esgarrouth Isthill | Animorphs
He didn't look like anyone in the city. At all. He looked like someone started with a blue and tan deer and then let their imaginations run wild. His back sloped down to a tail that was pure muscle right up until the sharp blade at the tip. He held that tail so that the blade was over his head, ready to move in any direction at any moment. Where a deer would have a neck rose what could have almost been the upper body of a centaur, still in blue and tan. His chest made it clear he was a youth, but not a child. Closer to being a teenager than anything else, if human standards could even be applied. His arms were smaller and weaker than a humans. Each hand had seven fingers. His neck was normal enough but the head that sat upon it was anything but. It was more oval than a human face, for one. Also, he had no mouth, at all. Where his nose might have been were just three thing vertical slits. Above that rested a pair of eyes, watching and alert. Above that rested, on thin flexible stalks, another pair of eyes. Those, at the moment, were looking around every direction possibly.
See, this was one very freaked out alien. He couldn't find his prince. Couldn't find his Shorm. He was on an alien world where the grass tasted different, unsure if the Yeerks were here or not. Unsure how he got there. Utterly alone. More alone than he'd been in a long time. And his attempt to find a native creature to acquire had... not gone well. Not knowing if that giant spider had been sentient was a regret. given that it was now dead. Of course given how it attacked him, it could have been a controller. Which meant that looking like himself was a bad idea. But his attempts to morph into a bird had also failed.
So mostly the alien was trying to hide in the trees and look inconspicuous. But where blue and brown might have naturally hidden him on his world, or maybe not... blue didn't hide so well here....

He hasn't even bothered trying to morph since arrival, so he has no idea that he's stuck, again. Not that he particularly minds, just yet.
Attempting the proper thought-speak brackets, wish me luck!
He gave a relieved smile with his eyes and lowered his tail slightly. Then Tobais' words caught up with him. <That was not the mission. Do you know where this place is or how we have come to be here? > He asked. He suspected the Ellimist, of course, but would much prefer proof before he said any such thing...
You did it! :D
If they were from different times, then this was almost certainly someone new. And new always meant danger. He fluffs his wings out, ready to take flight at a moment's notice.
Thanks to you!
His tail moved back into place, having the same sense of wrongness that Tobais seemed to have. <Where are the others?> That he couldn't contact his prince was disturbing, though having Tobais there he was a little less alone, and felt more confidant. <I suspect they may become trapped if they are here and still in morph, however as they have not answered my thought-speak they might be in their human bodies for the moment.> That was the thin hope he clung to.

Then, Tobias flutters his wings again. <I can't morph,> it's a terrifying prospect, but little of his fear makes it into his voice. <And I've got more bad news -- we're from different points in time. I'm from several years in your future.> He wasn't sure how many, exactly, because hawks are notoriously bad time-keepers.

Well, okay. He could die less unhappy.

He doesn't say that he feels... better, to be with Ax again. To have a mission, a purpose beyond sleep-hunt-kill, but as he takes to the sky, working his wings hard to gain altitude, he already starts to feel a little more like his old self.

<Well, there's a city with some kind of festival going on. For some reason they're selling lots of rodents. Nothing too suspicious on first glance, just a bunch of people celebrating.> He doesn't sound bitter at all.

He wishes he could morph, take on a form that would maybe blend in a little better. He didn't want to be mistaken for a pest. <Surprisingly, I don't think you'll be all that out of place in the crowd.>

Maybe even cinnamon buns.
He shuffles his wings restlessly.

And that likely meant one thing. < How long after the communication was it when the fleet arrived? >
